You don't think it's easier to multi task. Plus its for the person who knows how to navigate linux. I personally like 10.8 ubuntu though.

does that multi- desktop or 4 sided desktop come automatically with 7.10? and what about wi-fi? is that automatic too?

yes, you simply need to select it in synaptic package manager. be sure to select compiz-gnome/kde, depending on what you are using, for full desktop integration. wifi should work out-of-the-box ;)
