What do you mean he lacked leadership? The man had his house torched and still fought to bring Indiana a championship.nobody played with that kind of passion and intensity.
Not as good as a shooter as larry bird, even though he had more career total 3 pointers and points, he lacked in only one thing, leadership. And that is why he was never able to win a championship. But i definetly think that he has earned a spot in the Naismith Hall of Fame. If dennis Rodman and Charles Barkley can make it, this man deserves it as well.
reggie is the last of all the great ones to retire, #31 and only had took a team with only 6 players led them half way through the season beating dominating teams, thats a legend. and to the quarter finals scared the shit out of the detroit, now without mr clutch, indiana pacers is nothing no-nothing!!!!!!!!
Reggie and Stockton are the two people who stood out as far as loyalty go. Both had gone to the finals, both knocked down big shots to advance, and both had taken fights to Jordan.
Their owners never really built a championship caliber team around them, but they carried their teams very far. Especially Reggie.
Im a very loyal michael jordan fan, but reggie is special!!!!! great heart, great athlete, great person. by far the greatest 3 pt shooter of all time i was watching the game at 6:48 in this video clip, and i remember being pissed cuz the bulls lost, but i shed a tear when i saw reggie jumping around in circles, and i said to myself, this man really deserves this win... and a ring, though he never won a championship, maaannnnn what a championship caliber soul this guy had... thanks reggie.
idk, reggie is great great great, id put it between him and ray allen, ray has a better 3 pt percentage, he has the NBA record for most 3 pters in a single season, and based on his average, he will have more career 3pters than reggie, they are both great shooters, but id put ray allen as the best shooter, then reggie, RIGHT behind him
I LOVE THIS VIDEO! THANKS for the memories. It almost made me cry. OH, and thank you reggie for all you've done. You're awesome and you will always be my favorite player! THANKS AGAIN, #31!
You know there are many things that I love about New York, From its international scene to it African american experiance and history, but what I hated was the arrogance, Reggie hit it on the nose. He slayed the goliath so many times. I love this kid for that, and his tenacity. He will be remembered as one of the greats. I also love how he dealt so many other super city there arrogance as well.
One of the best Reggie Miller videos i have seen. If he would have come back with the Celtics this yr he would have had a legitimate shot at a championship. oh well, wasnt meant to be. God bless Reggie Miller!
I really do get a bit emotional watching this... He is my Idol, i have seen every game since 1990, not from just a fans view.. but from a basketball players point of view. So i studied and learned many things from watching Reggie, the work ethics, shooting and especially the movement without ball, playing of screens, how to get open ALL the time without even touching the ball. A Lost art, which only Rip Hamilton uses today...
I remember back in 1994 watching Reggie versus the Knicks. I had never seen a performance like Reggie's before and I never have since. The way he would exchange verbal jabs with Spike and hit every shot he took from wherever he wanted. It was eerie. To understand the unbelievable effort you need to see the game in real time. Thanks for putting this together. Great job!!
what a great video!!! im such a huge reggie fan thanks for letting me relive some of those great moments. especally against those freakin knicks!!! A++++ video

no way...
ray allen isn't a better shooter than reggie!!!
look at all the clutch shots!
only player that had as many if even him was mj.
ray would need to maintain the pace he is on so far this season 22 games or so into 08-09 & do that for about 4 more years to pass reggie.
even if he does which could happen he doesn't have near the points.
reggie has the 3rd most points IN NBA HISTORY that any guard has. MJ & Indiana legend Oscar Robertson are the top scoring guards.

im not saying i think reggies an amazing shooter but i actually think larry bird is the greatest shooter but regies right behind him

lol @ "new yorkers think they're better than everybody else".. hahaha!! well, we feel that way... cuz we ARE..!! lmao!
the funny thing is... the last time we played them in the playoffs, larry johnson hit a 4 point play and we won th series..
OWNED.
reggie was aight though...

No last time they played Pacers won in 6 & went to the Finals PWNED.
LJ's 4 point play was the year b4 & yes the Knicks went to the Finals that year. Your 1st year w/ Cambi.
The Miller led Pacers met the Ewing led knicks in the playoffs 5 timesduring both careers w/ Pacers winning 3 of the series to the Knicks 2.
