im from grove city, ive never felt threatened by tornados. i dont go to my basement or in a safe place because tornados dont really do much damage here in columbus from what i see.

We just had a EF4 tornado near my area of Toledo, Ohio about a month ago, Millburry, Ohio looks like a war zone. It's very sad.

LOL i remember this day... I had moved to Ohio from NY. The was my first day in my new place, in Dublin/columbus, right by the mall up there... Ill never forget that sky, super still and green.. Heard the siren, had no idea what that was.. Thank God im back in NY where all i have to worry about is being mugged... and sticker shock... That was enough for me...

Not long enough I guess. There was an F3 in Westerville/New Albany in October of 2006. We get tornadoes, regardless of whether or not you see them personally.

I miss WTVN, I used to live between Cleveland/Columbus near I-71 and I could pick up WTVN most of the time and would listen to John Corby a lot... now I live in the south and can not pick up near as many stations as I did when I lived in Ohio. It's seems like Cleveland/Columbus/Cincy are big targets for severe weather.

no i was there and it did not hit dayton....... acually to tell u guys i was under the cell on the highway when this happened so it scard me cuz i thought i saw a funnel comin down and after 15 minutes they said on the radio tht it hit the same placew i saw the funnel and destroyed 2 or 3 buildings...... scard me to death

I don't think the tornado actually did any major damage. It dropped by the airport where there really aren't a whole lot of buildings.

I live in Randolph in Portage county ohio, Like, ok I am only 11 and one night after a softball game I started seeing weird clouds and their wasnt even a tornado warning and I kept seeing swirly clouds and im like omg daddy look a funnel and hes like "ut dumb ur just seeing things" so I called the weather station thing and they believed we and there goes a tornado warning haha I am soo smart! And later that night is a touchdown in my back yard but it went back up lol
