I went to the everglades once. But there was this enclosed area thing with a bunch of alligators in it. And then this man with multiple missing fingers went in the area and sat on the alligators to open their mouths and show the teeth. It probably was some educational stuff he was talking about but I missed it all because I couldn't get over the missing fingered man in the alligator pit.

@ashestoyoursoul I think it happens a lot because you say "it's right there, I'll go anytime I want" but you never actually go. One of my best friends lived really close to Machu Picchu in Peru and she never went. Another friend lived by the Egyptian pyramids and he also didn't go. I grew up in mexico and never got to go to the Mayan and Aztec ruins. I'll go someday, though =P
