It's sad how that car didn't become the wave of the future while fuel prices were cheap, and now automakers are jumping through their bums to make them, out of dire necessity. Change is a constant, yet so many of the most powerful believe life is static, or look only to the next quarterly earnings report.
@Volkmoidruk NO doubt, '..who killed the elec..' there should be a selection of cars like that on the market by now. Sad, and now that oil blow out, even worse.
I loved this whole series when I was growing up and I miss seeing his "connections". He really brought Science and History to life and connected them like no one else, all with a lovely British accent! Thanks for sharing these! =)
Serious, Felipe again here...I don't even know who you are...but you're truly, and i say this to very few people i know if not no one....truly a motherfuckin amazing person for taking your precious time to put those videos up....
for real man, this shit changed my whole mothrfuckin perception on everything
I hope you make a lot of money and live a happier life than anyone else on this planet....
Don't I know it... the BBC is still far and away a much better source of science programming than anything in the US (sadly). However YouTube seems to be filling that gap which is just as refreshing.
@1:09, Damn, the future sure looked great back in 1985...
I'm sorry, I meant "corny".

the closed captions have a lot of misspellings. Like "Leneus" instead of "Linnaeus" and "Bethovan" instead of "Beethovan"

Thank you. If you find more let me know.
Also, if you could re-send the corrections to my inbox I'm more likely to get around to fixing it.
Thanks again.

What a gem! Infact all of your Burke output is a refreshing source. Many thanks for sharing this with us. It is much appreciated.
I remember some of these progs from years ago. It goes on to just show how banal & meagre todays "Science" output has become from the BBC!
