@gtjet1 - My suggestion would be to find a Bible that is easy for you to read and read it. As you read, begin listening to what God has for you. If you are open to Him you will begin to believe in Him. The longer you do this the more you will believe and the more you will hear what God has for you, just like most any relationship. Believe and you will be His.
Something important we need to keep close is that Israel will be blamed for all the death and destructions and Christian's who stand with Israel will pay a price. This is God's seperating process and His way of inviting the nations to the mountains of Israel where the birds will feed on their carcasses.Just as Israel missed Jesus first coming so have Christianins missed the first seal.
By no means am I saying that Yahweh cannot talk to humans directly, but we need to make sure it agrees with scripture. I am one of those who believe that the saints can know the year and the season of our Messiyah's return if we watch. Yahweh said we would not know the day and the hour. How can the saints miss two witnesses teaching the truth for 3 1/2 years in Jerusalem and then being killed and their dead bodies laying out to rot for 3 1/2 days and the world having a party about it?
