Zygor Guides Introduction

Just throwing it out there, Zygor is quite amazing... the addon is like the old Questhelper times 1,000 - Literally. "You paid for an addon? Fail" - No, it's called the piratebay - However, even if you've done it a thousand times (Just to give you an idea, I have 13 level 85s) - The Zygor addon will get you to 85 faster than you've previously thought, I'll guarantee you this. Would I ever pay for an addon? No, but this is nearing as an exception... It's that boss, trust me.

Awesome guide, very VERY good. The dislikes are mainly because the price is too high in my opinion, lower it... then again, majority of people pirate Zygor.

Ehm 85 in 5days is rather slow, got my paladin to 85 in 2days 9hours :/ (full heirlooms ofc) without the guide. And the remade quest lines in wow are so damn easy now(old elite quests are now normal ones, and outlands, northrend both are nerfed you can stay in hellfire from 60-67.....), and with waypoint and quest helper in game this addon isn't necessary at all.... only a waste of money...

in past there was a full guide all dailis, quest's, profession etc for like 60$-70.

Now its professions &dailis 60$ including both sides.

Pets & Mounts 35$(allience and horde), wanting to dig out so much money from ppl.

whats sad is if i wanted to hit 85 in 5 days that desperately i would easily do so.. 1-58 in a day, 58-68 in a few hours, 68-80 in a day and 80-85 in less than a day -_-

This type of promo doesn't work with WoW. You would be WAY better off showing what the addon is like in-game. Remember you're selling WoW addons not car insurance.

@JurreTong addon. I like this guide so far...was rather skeptical at how the quest progression was different but I suppose it was a bit faster

1) Add-ons must be free of charge.

All add-ons must be distributed free of charge. Developers may not create "premium" versions of add-ons with additional for-pay features, charge money to download an add-on, charge for services related to the add-on, or otherwise require some form of monetary compensation to download or access an add-on.

@PhiaX Well, from what I know (and from what Zygor's website says) it's legitimate because the addon itself is free, but the actual guides you buy are distributed as e-books that are read by the addon.

@lintonthepenguin I've had the discussion in game with a Game Master, They wont comment publicly on specific addons unless they are are problem for some reason. I had a problem with an issue in-game and we went through many troubleshooting steps, including discussing Zygor's guide viewer - no problem there, functionally or ToS.

@PhiaX The add on is liegit. You're not paying for the add on, but the guides you use within the addon. You can also make your own guides, as I have done, and use them with the viewer, which is the only actual add on.

@PhiaX They get around it by providing the add-on free -- and letting you make your own guides or download others -- and then selling guides for it.

Honestly, while I think other parts of their business are scummy, it makes sense, at least since there are other (not many) guides you can get for it.
