@derfmun Nope, not a 6mm bullet, its a 7.62x51mm round. The M110 Semi-automatic Sniper System has an adjustable stock and will accept a 10 or 20 round magazine.
@SpecJack15 ... just throwing this out there, but the FM that includes the M110 is still highly classified, so probably wouldn't start throwing out the specs on Youtube... just saying
@wscoggin "Highly classified", until you see the specs all over the net and Discovery Channel. Former Navy SEAL Richard Mack test-fired an M110 SASS in his military show Future Weapons, and there are reviewers who constantly update the world about new or exclusive firearms in an effort to make them better.
Don't be such a hater Spartan...This is the competition, they train for 5 weeks to compete, they don't get trained on the concept in 5 weeks, lets not get stupid here.
What makes them elite, SpartanHealth, is them shooting since they were 4 years old. The training is really more of a selection process than anything else.
@oeyesea They only get 5 weeks of training. What the HELL can you learn in 5 weeks? ALL of the shit they need to learn in 5 weeks? Hahahaha ummmmm...... Theres a reason why Scout Snipers are the best lol
@TheSpartanHealth They don't need 5 weeks of training because they have probably around 10 years or more experience of killing things with precision shooting in the wilderness before they ever wear an army uniform. Killing shit 700 meters away in freezing weather by stalking or ambush is something these guys have done since before they could shave. 5 weeks of training is just going over the army way of doing things. Results show in the competition. Canada & S. Africa is the same way: hunters
@TheSpartanHealth yeah thats why the USMC won the competition... oh my bad they didnt infact they never have its always been the Army winning you fucking jackass go play COD bitch
wrong, In '09, a Marine sniper team were the overall and service class winners. And, obviously, the Army is going to win a majority of the time because the disproportional amount of teams that they have against the other branches and countries are evident.
@TheSpartanHealth yeah that's why the USMC has never won the competition. It's wrong to compare Special forces sniper school (former SOTIC) to the marines scout sniper school. SOTIC teaches things a scout sniper/ army sniper didn't think existed. Furthermore a school is just a school, most skills are being learned afterwards. 'It's extremely hard to become a green beret (or ranger) but it's even more difficult to stay one'.
I LOVE DESCRIPTIONS THAT GET ME PUMPED BY USING ALL CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
