@soulreaver292 If I'd have known about the front, I could have saved myself a lot of trouble. Took me three goes to get up there properly. First time, he reached the cross, then spontaneously let go. Second time, he stood on the cross, synchronised, and when I tried getting the hay jump point on the cross, he did a giant leap forward instead. I've died so many times in this game from him randomly overshooting stuff.

Did you know in assasins creed 2, you can jump off from a place like that, without being near a ledge, and survive? Its hard, but when you get near some hay, press foward quickly. You will go inside the hay, without a count of a leap of faith. You can also perform an air assasin to survive. ;)

i had a good one... i was running from some guards, jumped from a building, realized i was about to land in water, hit the button, and caught one of the bars on the underside of one of those wooden awnings. was up to my chest in water, and then climbed out. also, i just love the fact how if you kill a guard and he falls off, everyone screams and runs, but if you fall off and die, People just keep walking like "Hey! some guy just fell and died! whatever."

I did get on the bottom one once. but it was a total fluke, because I accidentally let go at the top of the tower. when I grabbed the bottom one I was surprised that theres no fall damage for doingthat. but I never did it again

I don't think this works the same in AC2. I don't think Ezio can catch ledges after he gets to maximum velocity. It's pretty pro though.

i dont know how i managed it but if anyone else has pls say i jumped off the church from the top and it didnt do the leap of faith into the haycart but i was coming down right next to it i held the grab ledge and caught the side of the cart, survived my feet were through the floor i could see my knees, just but it was great i couldnt do it again if anyone else has done it let me know... cheers

I believe this occurs because the way he slides off the roof causes him to fall in a slightly diagonal trajectory. This means he may be just close enough to grab on to the penultimate ledge but too far to catch the last by the time he gets there.

I know it might sound rather far-fetched but it's the only explanation I can think of. Have you tried watching him fall from a 90º side perspective? It could confirm this (or not). =P

The game is available on the PS3, 360, and PC, but I wouldn't recommend it. One-third of it is dialog, all of which is unskipable, and it has very little replay value. Plus the ending is a huge disappointment. It's best as a rental, since you can beat it in a week and it gives you no incentive to beat it a second time.
