@78349748 I got armada ar6 skis 166 today and I was wondering what bindings do you have? I'm looking for some real lightweight bindings because I'm hoping to learn switch ups this year.
@miclegendx666 twintip skis are skis that have tips on both sides of the ski so the skier can easily ski forwards and switch (backwards) twintip skis are usually used for park skiing (terrain park with jumps and rails) and are usually center mounted meaning the bindings are mounted in the middle of the ski so the ski has just as much length in front as it does behind. This also makes skiing switch easier.
@FreestylinSki I have the Armada AR6 skis too, I am 5'8 and I weigh 130 pounds. I say the ski should be no taller than you if there twin tip skis. I think you bought your skis too big in my opinion but it all depends on what kind of skier you are
@iSmileForSub Yeah but it also depends on what you master at like if your are a park skier I prefer a shorter ski to spin and flip faster and more efficient but also if your a powder skier the long rocker skis are always in play
@iSmileForSub Well first off you need twin tip skis for the terrain park, but also for the park and going fast you want a ski that is about at your forehead because you have the freedom to flip and spin but you can still feel at full controle at higher speeds.
I use everything from a 164cm to 194cm. It all depends on the type and model of ski. You can also use the same model in different lengths and get a different ride. You really have to demo each model to know what length you'll like in that particular ski.
Dude, I'm 5ft 7in and weigh 120lbs, I use a 160 twin tip.... seriously you want a 146? It would probably break once you stand on it -.- if you dont like 156 or above, too bad, it will feel much better on a bigger ski. I typically get a ski that is up to my forehead. I feel as much power on a ski that size just as a ski smaller. I reccomend a 163 ski atleast.
Hi, Im going skiing next weekend... I am new to jumps and boxes...can anyone give me a good ski lenght... Thank you
