Oh yeah they're louder. It's a straight through muffler with stainless steal packing so it flows more and is louder at WOT.

last question when u floor it are the ultraflows louder ? i want louder than my flowmaster when im running it wide open , just cruising at 60 mph my FM 40 sereis mufflers are quitet with 2.5 inch dumps

Not nearly as much but some. But, my cab is all metal on the inside so probably any muffler would drone some. Not bad cruising.  If you have a wood bed install the mufflers underneath it. Wood helps absorb the sound.

I did notice a slight power increase. They flow more than the flowmasters did. So much more that I actually lost 2" of vacuum. They sounded great at first but now that the packing is starting to blow out they're REALLY loud. I like em' but I may go back to a chambered muffler.
