Hi, the follower u had did have armor on but not ur usual type she was using ebony flesh spell it increases armor by 100 but she also had perks in mage armor most likely which can triple those spells effects ur gears added up place u near 300 so if she had all 3 perks she was at 300 while glowig also and with no gears on .Quest items wieght nothign if u notice when u pick them up ur wieght doesnt change.those masks are rare they are a set of 13 store it if u sell it u miss out on epic stuff.

If it is really that good you're probably not able to disenchant it anyway and if you sell it you can always buy it back later.
