  • To all of you fuckers hatin on the big block Chevrolet ...go suck a horse cock and watch a Ford blow up or sum shit.

  • We did the tuning Collingdale Performance for 91oct.

  • for 91oct.

  • Should have got a Cummins, why the hell people get gas powered working trucks is beyond me. 454 on a dually is just plain stupid. Gas up every 2 hours while working, awesome.

  • uh my 96 buick has more

  • yeehaw billy ray, now my truk can git from one end of the trailor park to the other 2 secundz fastur!! yeeeehaw

  • considering my beat 1996 f250 7.3 powerstroke with 300k had more than 350 hp and 700 pounds of torque at the wheels and gets 15-20 all day and 12 towing . so yea it defanilty was the under for big motrs in truck s. no cars on the other hand :)

  • Those trucks ere such a let down. waste of a 454 in my eyes

  • Nah the 454 was better then the 6.5 in those years in pulling power like 98 d

  • my chipped 400 small block makes more horse than that

  • It was bought on ebay.

  • i MUST know where you got the supercharger!!! I have a 2000 dually quad cab 4x4 short bed chevy w/ a L29 vortec 454 and I just gotta have one of these in it!!!

  • My 01 GMC 5.3l SINGLE cab almost weighs 6000, and she screams down the quarter doing mid 14's... only has no cat exhaust and k&n intake with 4:11 Eaton g80 and a hyper-tech... im not throwing ya down, but just think your money wasn't didn't go as far as planned. but hey, i can appreciate your work and pride on her.

  • @JayandJenn07 Your half ton single cab does not weigh 6000 pounds because my 96 3/4 ton extended cab long bed with a big block only weighs 5990. Im saying you might be at 4700-4800 pounds. Thats why you run 14s with mods. Mine stock ran a 16 with more power than a 5.3 so you can see the weight difference right there.

  • @bballman345 I understand what your saying, but I pull trailers with mine and I've been weighed on a cat scale and both drive and steer axles cone in at 5350. Agreed, not 6000 but over 5000 with net weight, not gross. And that's the facts and not assumption. I know what I know and those cat scales are spot on accurate.

  • see you dont need 400 horses in a dually... i batcha the torque is through the roof which is what you want in a truck

  • MAJOR LETDOWN !! I expected MUCH more power from a Big Block with a Supercharger. Why doesn't it make 400+ RWHP??

  • Because it only 6psi and the truck is a dually that ways too much. And the factory peanut heads kill the power.

  • @CollingdalePerform Run higher psi with forged internals.

  • @KB3MMX keep in mind that the truck generates usable power, ie power before 3k rpm. If you buy a charger with a 345ci hemi in it it makes like 375 hp buy a truck and it will make 345hp. but that power is condesnsed down lower so you see more of it faster. same with 454s in trucks.

  • @SupraCelica98

That's why I would much rather have a Turbo Diesel instead of a big block gas hog , more useable power for towing and better mileage when being worked

  • stock 454 is around 500ft lbs torque from what I here, around 2800 rpm. Is that right

  • Stock a 454 thats a 1996 and newer has 410.

  • @JohnFromSpace 410 RWHP? Not a chance.

  • @BikingArchitect

410 torque at the crank is what I was trying to say

  • Stock that motor only put out 290 at the crank guys. Roughly 235 240 at the wheels. If all thats done is the charger the numbers are right. If hes gone inside, cammed it, had someone tune it and remove all the torque management those numbers would be way higher.

  • With 125.000 miles plus and and a used blower and on a Mustang dyno the numbers are correct at 295hp at a temp of 80F ! at the wheels.

.At the crank it would be 350hp..

    With a conservative tune.

  • 295 at the wheels is damn good for a 7.4. I wasnt knockin it I drive a 7.4 myself. Who tuned it for you?

  • @CollingdalePerform Who did the tuning for you on that?

  • @Kornmanxx So,all you can expect from a Paxton is 10% more HP?Yer kiddin'?

  • well how much torque does it put out? i cant believe my stock ls1 has that much more power than a blown 454...

  • my boss bought a 2008 GMC with the 6 liter LS motor. Its a work truck loaded with equipment on the back, He had it for months, I drove that thing for the first time. HOLY HELL that LS engine is a monster. You floor that truck and that engine comes out swinging. part of it is the transmission too. but I was in shock over how mean that thing was.

  • @settypatch Yeah man, the LS motor family are pretty damn amazing. the 6.0 your talking about is known as the "LQ9" and is desired by performance guys cause they are very strong and good for punching them out and making strokers out of them and also saying how they are a cast iron block vs aluminum block like its cousin LS2 (05 & up vette motor). It also gave way to the development to the 5.3/4.8 and the LS2 and LS7(zo6). they are very strong and torque happy, enough to be put inside 3/4 tons...

  • why doesn`t it make a lot more power? I have the same truck, same year, same engine, and it`s not supercharged. Maybe this truck is not 2000, 2000 has the Vortec 454. The older ones have 454 engines but makes less power.

  • The engine has a lot of miles and the boost is set at 6psi.Plus the truck is very heavy and it is on mustang dyno that will read always lower numbers.

  • ha a dually on a dyno!!!! thats crazy

  • hey i just bought a similar ok well identical truck to urs wat did it cost u to put the supercharger onit???

    checkout my mustang

  • $800.00 installed and dynoed.
