So basically, say i buy a computer that has no OS Installed in it, but i have a windows 7 installion disc i can put it in the computer and this will happen? yes or no?
@TehCuriousGuy Erm, you'd have to boot from disk if no OS is already installed. Theres a button on your keyboard that boots from a CD. Once you've installed it. I just remembered. Make sure you've set your bios to boot from CD. Then change it back after installation.

The message that i get when it comes to where do you want to install windows? is "Set up is Windows can not be installed to this disk. Mate, i don't want to get technical, but the overwrite at installing is not technically a wipe. A wipe must be no less than nine sets of random sequences with one last set of zed. The overwrite during installation is a formating which does not erase prior data , but simply places zed on top of it.
if you're only missing your boot manager you can re-install it with out losing everything... by doing a start up repair, none the less great video about OS installation
@Tingawinga5 - I dont get this one bit!! So i need to get the Winodws 7 disc, put it in my computer, turn my computer on and it will tell me all this stuff to do straigh away? and then i just click the options and it does it itself yeaaaah? :P

if you're only missing your boot manager you can re-install it with out losing everything... by doing a start up repair, none the less great video about OS installation
