Good, but what if the invited person has other than a gmail-address? Can you tell me that?

Google docs is a great idea... however, as a grad student, using the APA format Template would be a pain. There is no page separation, and running head does not automatically change for all the pages. i don't know where one page end from where one page starts... and I realize this is a problem with the applications and the templates, things don't work as well as there are suppose to.. but this is a quick alternative... if you need to write a quick letter and send it off

Working simultaneously works very well.  Updates are almost real time.

Is it possible to have users work on the shared document simultaneously (concurrently)? Or is it only one user at a time?

at the same time. colors show for each collaborator. and you can revert to past changes in that document within Revisions and see who made those changes.
