  • Micheal Clayton? All The Presidents Men? Does The Truman Show count as a Conspiracy?

  • I like the host, she's cute and funny :3

  • Well 1: best consiracy movie is Zeitgeist, 2: the media is controlling us, by distracting us from what the united states is doing with the monetary system and to get usd plugged with RFID chips controlling all the money in the world......WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Moxbound Zeitgeist is not a movie - it's a documentary :)

  • @hekata5 are you dumb... a documentary is a movie

  • People this is a about what the Rotten Tomatoes believe is the top 5 conspiracy movies of all time. It's their opinion. lol.

  • Where's Blow Out?!?!?!?!?!

  • SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!!

  • she's hot

  • Manchurian candidate #2, and The conversation #1...well done RT.

  • where the hell is the davinci code, this show suck.

  • yea the media pretty much control our lives when they put out a new fashion we follow them when they make a new word we use it even when movies potray being gay as funny yall fucking act gay like its funny

  • All the President's Men? That one was real!

  • Oliver Stone's JFK brought a lot of attention to the John F. Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories as well as causing the public to question the government on a far greater level. The fact that that one movie boosted a real-life movement towards question the government clearly is a reason why it is WITHOUT QUESTION the best conspiracy film of all time.

  • They Live is a fuckin' awesome movie.

  • @CameronWasmund yeah same thought ^^

  • where's Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson ^^

  • no Minority Report or Enemy of the State?

  • JFK is sort of a docu-drama. I think that's why they didn't consider it. Most of their list suck, but the conversation is pretty dang good. It's long and slow, but the reveal is off the chain.

  • Manchurian Candidate is fucking awesome. It's quite sad as well.

  • um... The lion king

  • What happened to "Enemy of the State?"

  • Zoolander?

  • I thought Manchurian Candidate wud be one

  • I was so ready for JFK to be number 1...

  • where's JFK? are you kidding me? look up Joe Pesci's character meltdown from that movie, its spectacular.

  • where the hell is Fight Club?!

  • Enemy of the State, 1998, also with Gene Hackman (in a supporting role, though)

  • How bout the Matrix? EVERYTHING is a conspiracy in that movie....even the air you breathe o.O

  • @eleutheromaniac haha your good.

  • they gave a Roddy Piper movie an 89????? That must be one damn good movie!! im going to find it.lol

  • Where's "The Matrix"?

  • Dear Brett and Ellen,

You're not funny. So please, for the love of everything, stop. Stop.

  • The Conversation is pretty dope. It's long and slow in places but the ending is str8 ill!!

  • the fight scene in "They Live" is the same as te one in the South Park episode "Cripple Fight"

  • In they live that was one of the most hilarious fight scences ever. Only because that's about as close Hollywood has gotten to a real fight in a major picture.

  • The Interpretor... The Pelican Brief... Erin Brokovich... 3 Days of the Condor... Blow Out... The Conspiracy Theory... JFK... Fair Game...

  • Nice Job Rotten Tomatos! That one I liked a bunch. And I'll have to check out a few. The Conversation and They Live, for example.

BUT I think it would have been funier if at :42 when you said the Media wasn't controlling our lives you had flashed OBEY on the screen or in the background.

    : P

  • @TheRadical42 you cant be serious.

  • @MrBrownstone8881 I am serious! And don't call me Shirley. : D

  • @TheRadical42 lol

  • They Live ftw

  • Some day I will make a movie where the main character appears to be a paranoid freak, but then towards the end it turns out everything he said was true and aliens are invading earth.

  • This would be a good list if JFK were number one and Dave, which is not even a conspiracy movie, were off it.

  • That lady needs to stop being an annoying host

  • i've never heard of one single movie on this entire list

  • How about

All the President's Men? (it being taken from the true story of Woodward & Bernstein gives it an edge over alot of other conspiracy films IMO)

The Invasion of The Body Snatcher's 1956? (every bit as much of a Sci-Fi conspiracy allegory as They Live and still relevant even in the 21st century)

  • any honorable mention for 'Capricorn One?"

  • "They Live" rules;they should re-release it;the message still resonates;"you'd have to be an alien be so oblivious and uncaring of the suffering going on now..."

  • what about the truman show?

  • I would like to thank Random English Accent Lady for stopping by this issue.

  • WTF THE BEST CONSPIERASY MOVIE IS NO CONTEST THE MATRIX

  • The Truman Show? Old Boy?

  • Excuse me RT? Hello??? Where is "The Truman Show" on this list???? The whole guy's life was run by a conspiracy since the moment he was born until well...you gotta watch to find out.

  • Three Days of the Condor

  • like vampires? Try "Last Rites: The return of Sebastian Vasilis"

  • that english accented voiceover thing was possibly the most painful thing i have ever heard.

  • 100% agree with your #1 choice

  • bitch dont call him Frankie

  • I liked the Ghost Writer :P

  • how about dr. strange love

  • What about the Truman Show?

  • Undercover Brother should be on this list....lol : )

  • Put on the damn sunglasses.

  • JFK was both cinematically and culturally significant. It was nominated for several academy awards, raked in over 200 million at the box office, and helped spur the release of thousans of documents pertaining to the assaisinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.

Why isn't it on this list?

    Maybe too political?

  • @metalreign81 Maybe because unlike all the completely fictional films on this list, it was a fictional film trying to convince people it wasn't, both in terms of trying to claim the conspiracy was real and in its portrayal of Costner's character. There was one shooter. Get over it, people.

  • @thevampirefrog06

In the first place Oliver Stone never claimed to be making a documentary, the film was a dramatization or speculation into the killing. As he described it the film was meant to serve as an alternate myth to the Warren Commission's claim that a lone shooter did the killing and which in fact a Congressional investigation into the shooting conducted in the late 70's determined that in all likely probability a conspiracy of more than one shooter killed both JFK and MLK

  • @metalreign81 All right. I'm going to make my case once and after that, I'm not going to say anymore. The fact of the matter is, being a high profile political figure greatly increases your chances of getting shot. And it's far from unusual for the assassin to simply be some disgruntled lunatic who wants their name in the history books. The evidence, such as physics and the Zapruder film, supports the Warren Commission's conclusion of one shooter.

  • @thevampirefrog06

In addition there is a plurality of the American public who feel that we are not being told the entire truth about the killings of JFK, RFK, or MLK, and that we have been betrayed and lied to. You may wish to illuminate yourself on this subject a bit more before you swallow the official version hook, line, and sinker. I'm not saying that Oswald wasn't the shooter, perhaps he was. Perhaps because of the Kennedy Bros. hardline terrorist war against Cuba-

  • @thevampirefrog06

To accept the government's official version of everything is pure nonsense----they lie, they have been caught lying, and they will continue to lie. What JFK (film) opened up to the general public was unfamiliar terroritory for many people (remember no internet, telecommunications, like we have today), much of the info in the film (including the Zapruder film) had been either suppressed or attacked by the govt and media to do what exactly? To defend you from information?

  • Where the hell is "JFK" ?

  • The president of the United States is the "most powerful man in the world"? over exaggerate much? Tone it down to the" most powerful man in the United States"... maybe.

  • lol current thinks they "the media"

  • @vapors420

She makes it obvious that she's joking through making an additional joke on the "the music stops for the joke"-cliche - is that too subtle still for you? Oh, and that thing about the yellow machine arms and the constitution - that's a joke as well, glad I could help...

  • Comment removed

  • @vapors420

If you think that the constitution is just a piece of paper only since BuSSh the lesser said so or only when BuSSh the II. (Oh bummer!) will say so then you have to take a history class or something. Like Cointelpro, USS Liberty, Gladio, Artichoke, Phoenix, Mockingbird, Iran Contra, whatever.

  • Comment removed

  • @vapors420

Can you translate that into English?

  • Research FEMA, NWO, Verichips, Chemtrails, Swine Flu n so on... I'm not trying to insult u but everyone needs to be aware of this stuff... Plz research these subjects n see 4 urself... Peace...

  • @vapors420

Are you unable to respond to a comment?

  • @vapors420 get a life dude....

  • Lol sure baby girl...

  • I dunt like this show, and yet i will not dislike it...im just going to let itself implode on its own stupidity. *Ninja smoke bomb!*

  • Lmao! I Love How Fake The Fight Scenes In Older Movies Look!!

  • i find it to be quite a co-incidence that 2 of the films were from the same year-1974. maybee this is a conspiracy?

  • REAL Free energy technology exists! But the Establishment doesn't want ppl to know this,Find the real deal, a free energy device at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!

  • god damn shes hot. never noticed that till now.

  • the social network will probably beat all of those

  • Dave got 97 %???

  • LOL They Live is hilarious! Interesting choice...

  • where's JFK

  • ..........Where the hell is JFK?...>.>

  • They Live sucked. I only watched it for the bubblegum line

  • @VelaToNorma7

    Obviously you're a fucking idiot.

  • I really gotta se They live.

  • @RobinsTaste great movie, has a better plot than most movies now..

  • Why isn't Conspiracy Theory or A Beautiful Mind on the list?

  • Comment removed

  • No Solyent Green?

  • number one conspiracy movie of all time...ALL TIME

  • Completely untrue i beg to differ.

  • I have come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubble gum.

  • the number 1 is a lot like the informant!

  • notice how all the movies AREN'T NEW and

    they don't have TERRIBLE DIRECTORS

  • I love you Ellen Fox.

  • what about the Game?

  • 'Videodrome' is too dense & difficult for most people-i dont think theyd get what the hell its even about. Long live the New flesh.

'They Live' definately deserves. I would add something like 'Society' or maybe 'Eyes Wide Shut'

  • good list, but i'm disappointed there's no China Syndrome or JFK.

  • JFK is the best conspiracy film, IMHO :)

  • @megafilmlover its so funny isnt it eh? you fuck cunting shit......

  • The Conversation is amazing in every sense, especially the audio.

Also, a tip for the ladies in the crowd, Harrison Ford is at his most sexiest ever in that movie.

  • Numba Foooow! Did you become british?

  • that fight in they live was awesome. the south park version of that fight was hilarious. 1:50 [cough] mkultra

  • uuhhhhhh. the davinci code

  • stop at 13 :DD

  • what is it?

  • no teeth :D And who could have seen it? :D

  • why???

  • i want to have Ellen Fox's babies. XD

  • Conversation may possibly be one of the most underrated movies of the 1970s. Sure it didn't make a boatload of money like Jaws, win a bunch of Oscars like Godfather, cause a lot of controversy like Apocalypse Now, or have memorable scenes/lines like Star Wars, but it's still a VERY good movie.

  • I agree buddy.

  • stop at 0:13

  • why? whats so funny at 0:13 ?

  • he was just seeing if you would do it and you did. lol

  • nothing is funny at 0: 13. :(

  • Wow! This is actually a pretty decent list!

  • the description says: Brett and Ellen discuss the top 5 consipiracy movies.

How is that when Brett isn't in the clip?

  • a metaphor for the media? That's only one part of it.. hidden messages on dollar bills has nothing to do with the media.. your analysis is weak.

  • is it just me or can u see ellen's nipples in this video?

  • What about Conspiracy Theory?

  • Too obvious. :P

  • Yeah, this list sucks bigtime without Conspiracy Theory.

  • me!
