Well 1: best consiracy movie is Zeitgeist, 2: the media is controlling us, by distracting us from what the united states is doing with the monetary system and to get usd plugged with RFID chips controlling all the money in the world......WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yea the media pretty much control our lives when they put out a new fashion we follow them when they make a new word we use it even when movies potray being gay as funny yall fucking act gay like its funny
Oliver Stone's JFK brought a lot of attention to the John F. Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories as well as causing the public to question the government on a far greater level. The fact that that one movie boosted a real-life movement towards question the government clearly is a reason why it is WITHOUT QUESTION the best conspiracy film of all time.
JFK is sort of a docu-drama. I think that's why they didn't consider it. Most of their list suck, but the conversation is pretty dang good. It's long and slow, but the reveal is off the chain.
In they live that was one of the most hilarious fight scences ever. Only because that's about as close Hollywood has gotten to a real fight in a major picture.
Nice Job Rotten Tomatos! That one I liked a bunch. And I'll have to check out a few. The Conversation and They Live, for example.
BUT I think it would have been funier if at :42 when you said the Media wasn't controlling our lives you had flashed OBEY on the screen or in the background.
Some day I will make a movie where the main character appears to be a paranoid freak, but then towards the end it turns out everything he said was true and aliens are invading earth.
"They Live" rules;they should re-release it;the message still resonates;"you'd have to be an alien be so oblivious and uncaring of the suffering going on now..."
Excuse me RT? Hello??? Where is "The Truman Show" on this list???? The whole guy's life was run by a conspiracy since the moment he was born until well...you gotta watch to find out.
JFK was both cinematically and culturally significant. It was nominated for several academy awards, raked in over 200 million at the box office, and helped spur the release of thousans of documents pertaining to the assaisinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.
@metalreign81 Maybe because unlike all the completely fictional films on this list, it was a fictional film trying to convince people it wasn't, both in terms of trying to claim the conspiracy was real and in its portrayal of Costner's character. There was one shooter. Get over it, people.
In the first place Oliver Stone never claimed to be making a documentary, the film was a dramatization or speculation into the killing. As he described it the film was meant to serve as an alternate myth to the Warren Commission's claim that a lone shooter did the killing and which in fact a Congressional investigation into the shooting conducted in the late 70's determined that in all likely probability a conspiracy of more than one shooter killed both JFK and MLK
@metalreign81 All right. I'm going to make my case once and after that, I'm not going to say anymore. The fact of the matter is, being a high profile political figure greatly increases your chances of getting shot. And it's far from unusual for the assassin to simply be some disgruntled lunatic who wants their name in the history books. The evidence, such as physics and the Zapruder film, supports the Warren Commission's conclusion of one shooter.
In addition there is a plurality of the American public who feel that we are not being told the entire truth about the killings of JFK, RFK, or MLK, and that we have been betrayed and lied to. You may wish to illuminate yourself on this subject a bit more before you swallow the official version hook, line, and sinker. I'm not saying that Oswald wasn't the shooter, perhaps he was. Perhaps because of the Kennedy Bros. hardline terrorist war against Cuba-
To accept the government's official version of everything is pure nonsense----they lie, they have been caught lying, and they will continue to lie. What JFK (film) opened up to the general public was unfamiliar terroritory for many people (remember no internet, telecommunications, like we have today), much of the info in the film (including the Zapruder film) had been either suppressed or attacked by the govt and media to do what exactly? To defend you from information?
The president of the United States is the "most powerful man in the world"? over exaggerate much? Tone it down to the" most powerful man in the United States"... maybe.
She makes it obvious that she's joking through making an additional joke on the "the music stops for the joke"-cliche - is that too subtle still for you? Oh, and that thing about the yellow machine arms and the constitution - that's a joke as well, glad I could help...
If you think that the constitution is just a piece of paper only since BuSSh the lesser said so or only when BuSSh the II. (Oh bummer!) will say so then you have to take a history class or something. Like Cointelpro, USS Liberty, Gladio, Artichoke, Phoenix, Mockingbird, Iran Contra, whatever.
Research FEMA, NWO, Verichips, Chemtrails, Swine Flu n so on... I'm not trying to insult u but everyone needs to be aware of this stuff... Plz research these subjects n see 4 urself... Peace...
