Nice party and what a show piece, but here are the realities. The extravaganza brought in an estimated £50 million in tourism. The extra days bank holiday cost the UK economy £30 BILLION. Source Daily Telegraph 29/04/2011
The above figures are only the tip of the iceberg. Google - "The Biggest Secret-Chapter 18" for a quick insight as to how powerful & wealthy this establishment really are. Naive people below like Hairy Bosch are sadly all too common & under the international Zionist thumb .
@ALBIONTYKE are you seriously reading and believing the utter crap that David icke writes? he is a nutter! he tried to make people believe that there would be an earthquake on the isle of Arran (nowhere near a fault line!) and that the world would end in 1997. grow up!
@Alroight David Ike ? Read & watch some of his YT stuff but think he is either a clever money maker or deluded, more possibly both. Try reading up what the Queen said to Burrel about dark forces operating that even she has no control over. Back down to Earth, simple economics - a 38 million work force producing 1.2 trillion per year taking an extra day off work x 238 working days in a year instead of 239 = 50 billion. PLUS the additional costs of the police & other staff overtime.
Asked to compose this for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, Walton's first response was, "How could I match what Elgar did so well?" - JRAKG
IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MONARCHY READ UP "THE WAR OF THE WINDSORS" They have been in bed with the Zionists since the Battle of Waterloo when the first Rothschild corrupted the stock market & bought out the British economy. The book makes reference to sexual deviation & corruption on a massive scale. The Queen even signed the 6th Lisbon Treaty selling our sovereignty to the EU as in 2010 all EU laws now over ride English & Scottish law.
@ALBIONTYKE I know but you will never get the majority of the sheep to understand. Better to leave them alone. I've given up telling people now. At least you're awake like me.
@airscrew1 david icke is nothing but an attention seeking whining nutcase! i suppose you believe in the 'alien reptiles that control the entire human race' aswell?
@ALBIONTYKE You prick....This bit made me laugh especially loud: "The Queen even signed the 6th Lisbon Treaty selling our sovereignty to the EU as in 2010 all EU laws now over ride English & Scottish law."
Bullshit. I'm no royalist, in fact my leanings are slightly towards the republican end of the scale (no Yanks, not your brand of Republicanism), but you're talking shite, pal. Do you really think the Queen has any political say left in our sovereign determination? You fool....
@HairyBosch Forgive me if I dont lower myself to your infantile rhetoric. Your way out of your depth & clearly another victim of social engineering. Like millions you believe she & the rest of the Royal Family are just a figure heads. Come back to me when you can tell me who the shareholders of the Bank of England Nominees Ltd are, the real reason why she has dissolved the Canadian Parliament, Her international mining investments, the power the Crown agents have over the House of Commons ect ect
I really love this piece. I can't immagine why , along with its composer, It's not more well known. However, it does seem to get a fair amount of airplay on our local classical radio station here in Sacramento. This is what classical music is all about.
@JoaoBR85 Yeah, but in some instances it would have been better if they would have taken a vacation from world affairs! Case in Point: The Wars against Napoleon
@JoaoBR85 So why does she allow her country and subjects to become part of the EU? She's another traitor of German bloodline that's why she couldn't give a toss about the UK.
Superb orchestral version. I am not sure why it was shortened ever so slightly - it's "missing" a bar here and there. Magnificent percussion parts...Fennell would have been proud!
The piece excists in two versions. The first version was written in 1936 intended for the coronation of Edward VIII in 1937 (since he abdicated, George VI ended up being the one coronated on that day). The second, revised version from 1963 is slightly shorter. This is the 1963 version.
It' was written for orchestra and organ. The full title is Crown Imperial - Coronation March for orchestra. The piece beacme an instant "hit" and many arrangements where made. One of the first arrangements was for military band. It was published in 1937. So I guess you can say that the band version is almost as old as the original one.
All the pomp, and pagentry is embodied in this exceptional piece of music!
