I think he held back information on a serious crime . I think he tried to 'erase' the hard drive to make sure no one knew what he had done and that he was so ashamed of his actions he then killed himself. Very sad story. Wish they had updates LoL I so want to know what happened!

Bah! Gricar was in a bad business. It couldn't have been good for the disposition of his mind. He emulated his brother and killed himself. He should have gone into something that was conducive to well being. Being a prosecutor is a dirty business. And he must have had a depressive mind already, like his brother. He excused Sandusky. Thanks for posting these. I saw this last year and really got me thinking. I live in Maryland and when i saw his face he looked like i had seen him somewhere before. Maybe due to the case, i however did not remember this, due to a lot of personal trauma going on in family. I thought and thought about this case after seeing it again on the tv. Now, the PENN STATE case has blown up and out in public eye. They say that Ray was a great proscuter, he had SANDUSKY on tape admitting that horror!

First off thanks for posting this, I actually seen this months ago, & after the Sandusky Penn state cover up and case came into the limelight recently I was desperate to remember clearly what was in this program. And now being able to watch it again , it's clear he had something to hide, it wasn't foul play by an outside party, and everyone in "Happy Valley" is sick and delusional including his family members and his co-workers in the PD. 10 to 1 he was a pedophile himself .
Although this video doesn't explicitly state it, it seems clear to me that Gricar was no angel. People without damning secrets don't go to that length to destroy a hard drive.
There have been allegations that The Second Mile was kind of a pimp organization for these young boys. What if Gricar had something to do with that? If so, and if he had any reason to believe that could come out in an investigation of Sandusky or anyone else, that seems like a perfect reason to disappear.

If police could find out what kids were looking for him at that time, and find out what areas they were looking in, they may be able to find him.

In 2009 I recorded Electronic Voice Phenomena for any info about Ray, and I just recently uploaded five EVP videos associated with Ray. One of them mentions that he saw kids looking for him. If police could find out what kids were looking for him at that time, and find out what areas they were looking in, they may be able to find him.

A. oooh, ok nevermind my last post, there was dna on the butts. B. aaand heeere they go w/ the casper/elvis sightings. C. so he was alive when she kept calling him & her call 2 the police. D. there was this 1 time where all these top tech geeks couldnt think of a way 2 recover info from a destroyed disk & said it would cost thousnds of $'s, but a clerk retrieved the info & fixed it 4 only $3. every1 thought if the geeks couldnt then how would he? sometimes it only takes common sense.

I looked this case up on line, Ray Gricar was declared legally dead July 25, 2011, his daughter inherited his estate.

Maybe the woman took him. I cant believe that he would kill himself so close to retirement. Also I think he would make sure that his daughter would be took care with life insurance. Could he have been being black mailed by this woman that he was seen with. Did they say there was video of her? Have they tried to find her for question?

@MrKronos00 Yes still unsolved. I live one county away from where Ray Gricar prosecuted. Just yesterday the Centre County judge pronounce him officially deceased.
