  • all the consumer robotrons buying stuff they dont need, with money they dont have, giving it to the rich so they can enjoy christmas in the sunshine ,while people go hungry ,its a sick world ,we live in :(

  • these malls are just horrible places. There like big institutions for shopping. these just make corporate pigs even fatter

  • it looks like an airport :O

  • That product, for constructing the frame is what I made my bed frame out of; it is like big-boys Meccano!

    .

Is that a 'choir' of Singer (sewing machines)?

Everything in All Saints, would have been manufactured by robots with industrial sized machines.

    Cheers.

  • I always wanted to visit London

  • Westfield is sure taking over the fucking world, aren't they?

They've pretty much assimilated every mall here in the United States.

    I hate this miserable company!

  • hell yeah. they try to britonise (british) our beautiful country. long live target and walmart :)

  • It's funny how they try to make your beautiful country more British when Westfield is an Australian company....

  • @rockangel1967 Westfield is an Australian company founded in Sydney (Burwood) in the nineteen sixties.

    .

It developed shopping malls in North America in the eighties.

Why do people bad-mouth American things so readily; America is beautiful too.

    Cheers.

  • @rockangel1967

they wouldn't be there if there was no market for it, British is better

  • @rockangel1967 britonise?,. westfield is from australia

  • @store275 I suppose in a way it makes sense. Not EVERYTHING can be run by US companies - having Australians (who LOVE their malls even more than Americans) manage shopping centres in the US and the UK is simply the so-called "global community". I'm just glad they dropped the "Shoppingtown" from the names of their centres.... That's almost as bad as calling apartments "rental residences". (Yes, I've actually seen signs like that before.)

  • stupid start of video duffer

  • er, how do Australian shopping centres differ from any other?

  • @meejawhore

Australian Shopping center developers are a generation after the North Americans.

The Australian advantage is that they have existing models to study in North America, design-workers may be attracted to the differences that the Australian-developed model have.

Probably space for wandering around and gross size is the most considerable thing; the tenant lease contracts may have specific things in them, too, things that tenants don't like much, compared with non-Westfield leases.

  • love this shop window.

  • Finally the Brits can experience an Australian shopping centre, we've had Westfield for decades.
