@BloodySock I really like that they didn't try and cover it exactly. It's a pretty tough call to ask someone to replicate the Beatles. I thought that this was a cover in all the right ways and that's what made it so good.

nice tone. but the guitar part is key to the feeling of the song! played too slowly it could turn this sweet little love song into a dirge. from an outsider's perspective i would say that sticking to the recording is the way to go for "This Boy". otherwise the vocals were tight and you guys really had some great moments up there. nice job!

I thought that this was a cover that they made their own and that's what made it so good - they thought about it and put their own feeling into it. This was nothing like a dirge - it had energy and bounce in different ways to the original. Top quality vocals as well, and one of the best covers I've ever seen on youtube.

Now seeing this again, I have to comment on the performer that is in the middle. He smiles a lot.

Around the 1:31 mark, the audience is spot on correct. That lead vocal was probably as good as I think it was.

And...the harmonies are pretty close to being spot on.
