I love this game but it could have had more like it would have been better if you could choose to acutally do your training eg strength speed and cardio also I was dissapointed that you couldn't switch between stances because an orthodox Lyoto Machida dosen't seem right other wise it was great and i agree with 9/10

who ever makes this show just a tip if youd like i like your reviews and they get a quite a few points but the fact that most of them are under 2;10 kind of bothers me because you usally dont go to indepth but on the whole your reviews a a great 8.5 out of 10

The game is pretty good for a first real attempt at making a decent UFC game... I only have issues with there being so many knockouts... I've knocked out 7 of 8 CPU opponents... You don't see that in the UFC too much... Plus submitting the CPU is too much of a strain... They will have to improve upon that on the next game.. And finally you're fighter doesn't age... i am two years into my career and still am 18... But those aren't all that bad for a first attempt... Good game overall

I agree with you when you say that knockouts are too common. But I find that as you go up the difficulty levels, the game gets more realistic. Once you get to the top 2 difficulties, you'll find that the CPU opponents will start to gas, and make submissions a lot more common and easier to pull off. However, KOs are still too common and I very rarely see a match finished with a decision.

Looking forward to next years effort. With the new EA MMA game coming out, I'm sure THQ will up their game.

HELP! Anyone! When i'm on bottom and the guy has open guard or w/e (when he's on top of me) how do I get out of it, I spin the controller the the right and it just grabs his hand thats it. you need to do a major transition. if your opponent is postured up while in your guard, a major transition will kick him off of you. depending on your fighting style, holding the left bumper and doing a minor transition will do a reversal.

i didn't like prototype. Its fun for the first few hours but after it gets repetitive and the graphics dont really seem very good. I played it for PC at my cousins house. All the graphics settings were set to max and the res was 1680x1050 (slightly lower than 1080p). It was definitley not what i expected from the game. There really wasnt much strategy or tactics involved. The game was all about the face paced slaughtering of people. That maybe your thing though

I'm a UFC fan. The game was alright but I'm gonna wait till their next release to purchase. Think they can improve on some things. A lot of presentation sort of things. Dana White popped up on some commercial of a show I was watching and thanked the fans for buying the game and said they'd be back next year. So there should be some more.
