  • Very nice and Very instructive...Could use clearer pictures they were a little blurry

  • That looks hard. And how did Indians put carpet padding in them? What was really used?

  • @HairGlitter Of course they didn't use carpet padding. The would have used what was available to them. Like grass, mosses, pieces of fur.

  • how much does it cost to make these?

  • As many comments I have seen, I would love to have the pattern to the Cherokee soft soled moccasins. I am making them out of the deer skin I had for my union ceremony dress and need to know how much material I need for a size 8 woman foot. Need ASAP if possible

    Thank you

  • -we LOVE LOVE this video-couple ??'s: do you think a group of 8-10yr olds could make these & is there an online store where I could find the materials (leather, hole punchers) that you recommend? I would imagine they would also like to bead the tops so is there a different type of leather that should be used? if you have a particular book to recommend-that too would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

  • how do you attach the bone and beads to the leather if you could do a video that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Is there a guide to making the pattern? I'd like to make a pair. They look very comfortable. I'd like to come up with a design for jogging.

  • Great video, but what does it mean to "lay sole and vamp 90% to it"? Are the two sole pieces (inner and outer) the same size? Thanks.

  • @ridinmabike I think he meant 90* (degrees) to the spine of the hide

  • would you be willing to sell a pair of them?

  • The beauty of making your own Moccasins is that you can style them any way you want.

So YES you can cut around the heel or even cut the front shorter. Be as creative as you want, most of all have fun.

  • Could you cut the fringe all the way around the ankle part and not the in the front?
