It DOES seem like more energy comes out of decomposing water, but to be fair, the process eats up metal, releasing stored energy from the refining process, lots of energy. The good ol' electrolysis. Unfortunately it takes more energy to break up water molecules, than gained in form of oxygen/hydrogen gas mix. Maybe if there was a way to tap in to the energy that's being waisted by engines anyway, then producing anything, no matter what the energy expense is, would increase engine's efficiency already. Energy to decouple the H2 from the O is equal to the Energy output.. I have made this experiment and come to that conclusion. I also increased the voltage only to have the Alternator draw more resistance on the engine to recharge the battery negating the H2 boost in power.

@devjock You may want to point out that mono-atomic hydrogen does not exist in atmospheric pressures. Free hydrogen almost immediately joins other free hydrogen atoms to make H2, just as most free oxygen joins together to make O2. Mono atomic hydrogen, or just plain H, only exists in deep space and in laboratories where they can maintain a strong magnetic field AND temperatures below 0.3 Kelvin. Have them google "mono atomic hydrogen" for more information.
Think about what you just said. Gasoline is an energy container as well, according to your definition, and a gasoline engine will run forever if you simply keep adding gas before it runs out.
There are a number of ways to just use water, and not all depend on electrolysis.
Technically, he shouldn't be calling it free energy unless nothing ever has to be added once it is started, which would be quite difficult. I suppose enough focused sunlight on a closed loop freon turbine could work.
By using the freon(generically speaking. even pure ammonia would work.) to run the turbine, you can generate enough electricity to run the generator at max capacity, which means that with proper sizing you can also charge batteries that will carry you through the night. Because the liquid used will boil at such a low temperature even a cloudy day will provide enough energy to run the generator.
This is being done with low temperature geothermal steam and freon up in Alaska.

Yea. The big problem with electrolysis is that it can only occur when the liquid water touches the electrodes. The very bubbles of gas that we are producing are what lower the efficiency of simple electrolysis to the point where it can not be maintained by burning the gases produced.
It appears that there are methods to get around this, such as plate surface preparation combined with pulsing electricity at the resonant frequency of the plates.

@devjock Alright, I haven't looked into this stuff for a few months but basically, Think of it as an alternate energy source working off your emotions. I Know, it sounds whack. I think it's whack too, might even be a hoax but look into 'Joe Cell,' for more information. There are whole papers for this stuff, and also an experiment using one of these cells to fully power a car. The energy these things let off after 'harnessing,' this emotion seems to be off the scale as well.

Energy to decouple the H2 from the O is equal to the Energy output.. I have made this experiment and come to that conclusion. I also increased the voltage only to have the Alternator draw more resistance on the engine to recharge the battery negating the H2 boost in power.

To make an electromagnet you need to burn current. However in a permenent magnet it's those endlessly spining electrons that provide the magnatisum for free.

@devjock You may want to point out that mono-atomic hydrogen does not exist in atmospheric pressures. Free hydrogen almost immediately joins other free hydrogen atoms to make H2, just as most free oxygen joins together to make O2. Mono atomic hydrogen, or just plain H, only exists in deep space and in laboratories where they can maintain a strong magnetic field AND temperatures below 0.3 Kelvin. Have them google "mono atomic hydrogen" for more information.

Think about what you just said. Gasoline is an energy container as well, according to your definition, and a gasoline engine will run forever if you simply keep adding gas before it runs out.
There are a number of ways to just use water, and not all depend on electrolysis.
Technically, he shouldn't be calling it free energy unless nothing ever has to be added once it is started, which would be quite difficult. I suppose enough focused sunlight on a closed loop freon turbine could work.

By using the freon(generically speaking. even pure ammonia would work.) to run the turbine, you can generate enough electricity to run the generator at max capacity, which means that with proper sizing you can also charge batteries that will carry you through the night. Because the liquid used will boil at such a low temperature even a cloudy day will provide enough energy to run the generator.
This is being done with low temperature geothermal steam and freon up in Alaska.

@slizzardman True, gasoline is an energy container, but with a slight difference. In order to release energy stored in water molecules, you need to electrolyse them (2H20 = 2 H2 + O2), wich costs energy in the form of electricity.
In order to release energy from gasoline, you just light it.
But I see where you're coming from, you are correct in what you're saying. I even made the slipup of saying "add more water". Light the H2 and O2 >> electricity + H20, which can be re-electrolysed.

Yea. The big problem with electrolysis is that it can only occur when the liquid water touches the electrodes. The very bubbles of gas that we are producing are what lower the efficiency of simple electrolysis to the point where it can not be maintained by burning the gases produced.
It appears that there are methods to get around this, such as plate surface preparation combined with pulsing electricity at the resonant frequency of the plates.

The laws of thermodynamics have not been conclusively proven, because we don't know the boundaries of where energy can go. They're just common sense rules.

i cant remember the who said it but its a good quote to remember, "free energy costs money."
There is lots of energy around us, that we have no bearing on, so ona points basis if we harness these energy's then we are getting free power from it, its just that it costs a lot of money to make the contraption to do it. The best example of this is a tidal force wind generator, where the waves of the ocean are used as the piston force to push and pull air through power gnerating wind turbine.
