  • Killer tune! Makes me wanna grow my hair out again

  • Ratt was always more bluesy, melodic and cleaner sounding then Motley Cru...Ratt hands down!!!

  • If anybody remembers MAX HAVOC band from the same days in Hollywood, this is the same song they had on their 1983 album sung by Pat McKeon. the lyrics are only slightly different, changing only verbs but the licks and chorus are the same. I dont know the connection between the two bands or players but I loved both of them in the early days of Hollywood metal. here is the link to the MAX HAVOC version. ( search youtube Max Havoc Angel of Passion)

    enjoy fellow Sunset Strippers!

  • The connection between Max Havoc and RATT is David Alford and I started Max Havoc and left to join RATT in about August of 1981. That song/riff was written by Dave, before we moved to California, so it ended up in both bands. Ironically, I wrote Won't Be The Fool when I was about 19 in Florida and Pat McKeon recorded it and never gave me credit. He didn't write a single note or lyric, but I was a kid and didn't know about copyrighting my material. Those were GREAT days. Bob DeLellis

  • @MrYngwie88 i couldnt agree with you more

  • Cool song.

    Better than Poison's Fallen Angel.

  • @JosephKuby > pffft I hope so, Poison is way beyond overrated!

  • @hobbit151, I agree.

The only reason why they became bigger than Ratt was because their music videos were better. They captured people's imaginations more.

Additionally, their image was more appealing and when it came to concerts, they were more interesting visually (if not musically).
