Dr. Petit is a wonderful man. My heart goes out to him. I hope and believe he will find future happiness, despite the unbelieveable tragedy he has suffered. God bless him.
He is a very strong man. I hope when he goes to heaven his family is there to greet him right away. He has to carry this pain till then. His family is in the most peaceful place beyond imagination and they would want him to cheer up as much as he could. I think he is doing it. He is celebrating and carrying on who they are and the many good years and moments they lived. People like him help others with their faith and struggles

I know not a day goes by without that horrific night going through his mind but he is doing his best to fight through the emotional pain he'll have to live with the rest of his life. I pray he can fall in love again and marry, or least find some happiness. I pray for you Dr.Petit and my heart is with you.

Poor man. WE, society, are the 'freaks', in that we let our laws now dictate UNDUE due process, for his family's murderers. There is NO WAY they should be alive in jail right now, NO way. In cases of proven guilt in heinous crimes, it should be UNDER TEN DAYS that they are taken to a GALLOWS, NOT intravenous injection (TOO GOOD FOR THEM) ... and then the families of the victims and ALL THE PUBLIC that a large building can hold should be invited to come and witness the JUSTICE of killing SCUMS.
