Sounds like these guys learned their Khmer expression and manerisms from the Cambodian actors in DVDs, especially the ones who act like clowns to try and be funny, which I think are usually highly exagerated and not really the normal Khmer speak.

i was wonderin' why these guys learned 2 speak khmer, & even got in2 the cambodian music industry. khmer isnt an international language; cambodia is a small country where foreigners aint need 2b able 2 speak khmer 2 do business, & the cambodian music market, includin' overseas cambodians, is very very small. so i suspected they are christian missionaries.
