  • they are heros who had the courage to stand up against the wrong doing's of the english government and they should never be forgotten !!!!!!!!!!!

  • You know a welshman said to me once. WALES, the only country were you can have a mind blowing shag, a great hot pot, and a fantastic jumper, all from the same animal.

  • Hywel dda's welsh law from the

8thcentury was so progressive it was not surpassed til the last several years. Wake up...the norman legacy sent britain backward and stalled us for years

  • yma o hyd

    fe godwn eto

    CYMRU RHYDD

  • His family were deeply upset by the film, which portrayed their ancestor as a drunken malingerer - albeit an heroic one who won a VC - when in reality he was a teetotaler and church warden! Sorry to be a joyless pedant, but beware getting your history from Hollywood.

  • Private Henry Hook VC is depicted as a rogue with a penchant for alcohol; in fact he was a model soldier who later became a sergeant; he was also a teetotaller. While the film has him in the hospital "malingering, under arrest", he had actually been assigned there specifically to guard the building. The filmmakers felt that the story needed an anti-hero who redeems himself in the course of events but the film's presentation of Hook caused his daughters to walk out of the film premier in disgust.

  • Although Zulu the film would have you believe Rorke's Drift's defenders were all Welsh that's just not the case. The regiment became the South Wales Borderers and many came from the English side of the borders. James Hook, played wonderfully by James Booth, for example came from the village of Churcham just outside the Forest of Dean, where commemerations are regularly held. Cont'd...

Heb gadw at bwrpas mae talent yn waglaw

  • Im in a rebellious mood of late, nothing unusual really, I know the English hate the welsh, my argument and I voiced this once in public, admittedly shit faced, that at Rooks Drift (africa - Zulu wars) who was it that stood up to a 10,000 strong army of spear chuckers, when the British Garrison got slaughtered? you got it 100 or so engineers etc. ... see next

  • Resist!

  • Fuck the English!

  • As an Anglo-welshman I find you nationalistic ranters a real imbaressment , honestly do we really need our own goverment so that pathetic people like Rhodri Morgan rule over us? we're better off following Gordon Brown (Or another Westminister MP) and sticking with england......... But i must add that i think the drowning of welsh towns for the english to stay hydrated is abit arrogant of them but who cares , forget about it , shit happens ....... The Free Welsh Army Are No Heroes , Britain ftw

  • for a start its embarrassment but never mind we nationalistic ranters are nothing more than bare footed rascals

  • GORDON FOOKIN BROWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKING HELL U ARE INSANE! CYMRU FO AM BYTH! Hywel dda welsh law 8th century was not surpassed by english law until the last few decades. Its a big fallacy that english law is better then everyone

  • I know you said this two months ago, but you're right about staying united, each province is too small to become a sovereign state.

  • the FWA burned down all the summer houses as they all hated the english.. they should learn our language if the come live in Wales.. and they formed 2 get signs in WELSH as they were all english, thanks 2 FWA we have welsh signs and english translations

    FWA 4 LIFE!!!

  • FWA had nothing to do with the current bi-lingual policies of Wales. Stop spreading lies. I also ask of you: do you speak Welsh? Or is it just self-righteous posing? Hypocrites.

  • further more it comes down to a skip in democracy of which the other English people dont get a say, so sadly we're all tarred with the same brush. (note: london, were Britian is run gets an essembly, however England doesnt have it's own parliament).

  • 1 thing u didnt mention was the free wales army burning down english estates in wales because they didnt want english people moving here. just 2 let ya kno

    FWA all the way

  • Yeah sorry, Im sure there are a few other things I've missed, however I admit thats quite an important well known one. I am a supporter of the fwa by the way. The whole thing all really comes down to british imperialism of which everyone OUTSIDE the city of london(and some of it's emediate bordering counties) and some larger northern towns(namely liverpool and manchester) are it's subjects.
