Sanzang and Benkei are both from warriors orochi and not from the other games. They are both from china I think, but they have not much to do with dw or sw. Sanzang is Sun Wukong's master and Benkei is Yoshitsune's servant...so..I don't think you can classify them in the games.

I would prefer "silly" weapons over generic weapons like swords, axes, spears, maces etc that can be found in most universal RPG games. A change is always nice.

Sleeves are the perfect combination with her Gypsy/Dancer-ish sprite, reminds me of Dancers from Ragnarok Online/FFTactics.

Koei has a habit of taking silly weapons and making them awesome. I suppose you whined about the Qiao's fans, Mitsunari's folding fan, Oichi's kendama, Okuni's parasol and Motochika's guitar as well?

yes i whined at a couple of those things. but at least those weapons were semi-realistic. some fans had the ability to cut skin, but two over-extended peices of cloth? yea, that's really going to hurt someone

@terryts2 it's no big deal!!!! In chinese martial art movies, using cloth as a weapon is usual so don't be surprised or wonder if koei made sanzang use cloth or sleeves as her weapon. It seems like you're not watching jet li and jacky chan's movies dude.
