  • Lol Neverender is a gun....

  • i think this is my favorite coheed song besides the crowing. saw them open for slipknot a couple years in atlanta....fucking epic show but they didnt play long enough...

  • These movies are fucking terrible. It's a horrible insult to Coheed that you used clips from these wretched pieces of shit to make a video for a song as good as this one. You are deserving of all the hate in the world.

  • i agree with you dude , he's not solid fans of the band because only one song of the band he likes! kill all the possers!

  • my exboyfriend treated me like shit, i did everything for him and he tried to alienate me from my family and i hated that....he broke up with me because he was done using me so i'm over it.

but this was the first song i heard after he broke up with me.

he kicked me out of his life because i caught onto all his lies.

now his brother is my best friend and his brother tells me everyday how awful my ex is becoming.

    i'm proud he's gone

i am raising up my scars to show everybody he is shit.

    ♥heart.

  • I think Everything Evil would've gone quite well with this video

  • these movies are absolutely disgusting. great song though.

  • ha, it is dissapointing when games expose bands to people who are like that. i personally love coheed and cambria, every song. Coheed and Cambria Rock on!

  • lol everyone's faces when Amanda is in the needle pit

  • @whydicare and its freaken epic!

  • Dude dont listen to anyone online they just want someone to argue with. Haha.

  • I love this song. ^.^

  • @whydicare i also second your opinion...welcome home has lost part of my heart becuz its close to the only song anyone can name when you ask...if you play it then they do i dont even have it on my zune anymore...everyone else has it if i really want to listen to it...but doesnt mean i hate it

  • @Sardimor Welcome Home is arguably the most overplayed Coheed song and is something we're fed up with, but when they play it live, it still RULES!

  • @supremebeing87 Still get's me pumped everytime secretly :)

  • @supremebeing87 No matter how overplayed Welcome Home is it is still in my opinion of the best songs, not one of coheeds best songs obviously. It is quite sad that Coheed and Cambria don't get the recognition they deserve

  • Im with you man

  • cnt wait!!

XD, 4 the new fresh tunes from them. C&C rock!!!

  • @whydicare i hear where you're coming from, but the number of plays doesn't downgrade it's amazingness lol an amazing song is an amazing song, whether played once or a million times.. but yeah, i don't see why people are giving you a hard time. everyone has different tastes

  • good explanation any song thats overplayed sucks eventually but c&c is great either way when are they comin up with a new album???

  • @whydicare i agree, i hate people who over play coheed, this song is amazing but cant stand listening to it with other people because then they have to play it too, im like "WTF?"

  • dude what the hell, welcome home is amazing, what a douche suck a fatass dick

  • @whydicase

You skip Welcome Home on your ipod? Fucked up man... That's so fucked up.

  • he's just a douche, i hate his guts too :)

  • Love the song but what a terrible match.

Coheed is awesome... But Saw 2 just blows.

  • @whydicare okay, its on rock band. so are a majority of other extremely famous and succesful bands. if you havent noticed, there are hundreds of band on rockband and guitar hero's downloadable content. doesnt make them bad bands.

  • why do fans turn on the band they declare as their "favorite band and the greatest band of all time" when they get a little bit more attention?

does it make you feel warm and fuzzy inside to think youre the only fans of the band, so you dont want to share with anyone else?

if a band does something to reach out to a wider audience, the more power to them, i think its great

  • @whydicare FUCK YOU WELCOME HOME IS AWESOME IT DOESNT MATTER IF ITS ON ROCKBAND OR ANY OTHER GAME YOU DOUCHE BAG

  • FOR FUCKS SAKE, does it really matter what songs people like or don't like? If you were "true" fans, you wouldn't be criticizing people for liking the songs. If it wasn't for games like RB, I wouldn't of heard of Coheed, and now I own all their albums (although SSTB is my fave), but I just hate those people who think they're being true fans by beign stubborn gits and only accepting the first album. Rant over.

  • I mean the band is my favorite ever and neverender is a very epic and important song in the story and everything but it just doesn't work with this and it sucks in my opinion

  • Sucks

  • @whydicare ikr!?!?!?!?!?!

  • time consumer, neverender, delirium trigger, hearshot kid disaster, the crowing, and backend of forever... BEST Coheed songs ever.

  • @1964SG Dude where is everything evil, the crowing, 2113, or the light and the glass?

  • this is my fav. song from these nigs

  • nice

  • nicely done

  • saw is the champion of movie for the best storyline!

  • this song somehow goes with the movie

  • My favorite coheed songs are blood red summer, The suffering, and feather

  • So really, you like what's popular.

  • well no i like all coheed songs but those are my favorites because of the range he uses while singing

  • 'Game Over' I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!! lmfao nice ending , great song

  • the saw movies hav always friggin freaked me out..jesus who the eff made those movies..

  • Comment removed

  • and one more thing im tired of is people saying the song they like is welcome home, goddamn they have so many better songs than that. fuck all you rock band assholes.

  • LoLz datz so tru

  • Just because you are a die hard fan of Rock Band and/or Guitar Hero doesn't mean you have the rights to judge bands on them. And i have to admit, that this is not one of their best songs, but its not terrible. Go listen to Gravedigers and Gunslingers, In Keeping Secrets, Time Consumer, and of course, Delirium Trigger (Live)

  • good answer dood

  • I agree with you completely except with one thing. Neverender's a kick ass song dude. Honestly, Coheed and Cambria is the only band where I like every single one of their songs. SSTB is a brilliant album man!

  • Fuck yeah SSTB is a good album!

  • Same, they have NO bad songs.

  • @gigglegigggle agreed i can honestly say ive never heard one of there songs i didnt like

  • @gigglegigggle I completely agree (except for NWFT)

  • @gigglegigggle time consumer is great ... I really like their album in keeping secrets of silent earth 3 ... its hard to pick a favorite album really though

  • mother superior, feather and the running free are mine. but wise choices. :)

  • ENVocalist, go away, youre not a coheed fan and never will be one youre just a fag who plays rock band all day and judges bands because of 1 song you heard from them, we coheed fans don't want you to be a fan too if you cannot respect every song they have written

  • @Shchphinkter11 dont get your little coheed panties in a twist women

  • @Shchphinkter11 That's a stupid thing to say, loving a band isn't about blindly accepting everything they put out. I love Coheed but I have no shame in admitting that their first 3 albums are easily a step above their newest 2. That's not saying the newest ones are bad, but there's a difference between being a fanboy and loving the band.

  • @SolidarityIX, well, you can respect a song whilst maintaining that you do not like it. I mean, to respect it is one thing - to enjoy listening to it is another.

That's just my incredibly stupid opinion on the matter.

    :)

  • @SolidarityIX alright first off dick breath, i wrote this before hearing YOBR, second off i stand by what i said. Youre all about a band until they make one album you dont agree with, well check the genre of the band you "love" its prog rock, if you cant respect that they will take turns in their music journey then step off the coheed express

  • @Shchphinkter11 Except I still love Coheed, just not their newest two albums. Basically you've just reemphasized that you believe you have to like all of their music or non at all, which is fucking stupid. Also I don't know why I'm bothering to reply to someone who types like an angry 13 year old.

Grow up and learn a few things about music, cool?

  • @SolidarityIX hmm lets see basically i never said all or nothing? just said if you were a real fan youd appreciate their musical genius oh and i type like an angry 13 year old? that's cool i guess that means a 13 year old can outwit you and uses better grammar? not to mention could take you to school in music, i like how you act like you know everything, im twice the musician you are, bro.

  • @Shchphinkter11 Good job, you actually made me laugh out loud. You use better grammar? Yeah, you make that apparent with your flurry run on sentences lacking any kind of punctuation. I'm acting like I know everything? Nah, I just gave you a (generally) polite response and you started insulting me.

Stay in school, and then maybe we can have this conversation when you've matured a little.

  • @SolidarityIX haha its funny bc i have an excuse to be on youtube, im not a 40 yr old pedophile who has nothing better to do with his life than troll people on coheed videos. hope you pay your mom rent living in the basement bro, and with that im gonna be the adult here and stop responding, enjoy the gay bar this week and try not to waste all your money again after all you have to pay the basement rent yknow. peace out.

  • @Shchphinkter11 Okay cya, it's been fun proving you to be an idiot.

  • @Shchphinkter11

    ad hominem lol

  • you dont have to read anything to understand because its whether or not you like the MUSIC :)

  • one of my favorite songs by my favorite band. i am just completely in love with the combination of amazing story and fantastic music. coheed ftw.

  • sweet tune!

  • so...

coheed really didnt make the song 4 the movie?

    oh well

coheed is too awesome 4 the saw trilogy!

  • excuse me there is saw 5 and u call it trilogy??

  • this movie sucks lol, makes you feel like shit real bad

  • Yeahhh.

  • Saw 1 and 2 were the best. I loved the twist at the end of the movie. I guess the saw series is either a love/hate thing. One thing that is undoubtedly true though is how awesome Coheed and Cambria is.

  • love the breakdowns at the end

  • lmao at the end

  • the drums in this tune are intense! love it! love this band! X

  • This kind of sounds like Who Watches The Watchmen. The Prize Fighter Inferno was Claudio's second greatest decision.

  • well the ending was just lovely XD

  • This makes Saw so much better...

  • eh i personally think that Coheed is a lil bit to happy for this video but its a pretty okay vid

  • Oh, coheed is hardly happy. The music may sound upbeat, but if you have a look at the lyrics, a lot of it is very sad and angry

  • It's because of the concept behind their albums.

The Amory Wars is a very adult, complex, and emotional story.

Neverender embodies on of the stories darker moments... I think. To be honest, I'm not 100% on the meaning of this song...

  • its a reflection, claudio kilgannon (the main character of The Amory Wars) is on the Guile Greaver escaping Hetricus where his parents were forced to kill his siblings and were then taken away. Claudio writes a letter to them saying how sorry he is for disobeying them and not being home on time the night before (which would have led to his death too) and tells them he loves them hoping their alive, finally in the end of the song he contemplates suicide, then rejects the idea and goes to sleep

  • claudio?or coheed?

  • this part of the story is all claudio kilgannon man, like i said he writes the letter of apology, hope and his ravenous desire that they will understand he misses them and wishes to see them, subsequently contemplating suicide (because at this point he knows the fallen mages chasing him, onstantine priests, wont stop til they kill him) but decides not to kill himself and falls asleep "point your gun in another direction, now that you've cried yourself to sleep"

  • ohhh thanks !!

  • no prob, if anyone has any questions about coheed and cambria or the coheed and cambria story just send me a message or reply to one of my comments on any vid and i can fill you guys in

  • whats the running free have to do with the story?

  • haha thats the toughest song in the entire saga, no one really knows for sure but I made what I think is a good guess, it's either Mayo Deftinwolf torturing an IRO-bot for information (most likely Sizor) just like in Cuts Marked in the March of Men or its during a battle between Mayo's forces and the rest of Claudio's IRO-bot soldiers and Mayo is mocking claudio thinking that he can break his spirits, "you're going home, you're running free" you're going to die, it'll all be over soon

  • its sort of like a shouting battle between the two leaders of the armies, Mayo and Claudio, its basically mayo mocking him sarcastically "did it bleed? was it sore? through the struggles you endured, you've come so far from innocence [implying you're not the messiah they think you are] provided all the consequence [you knew you would die in the end even if you succeeded] only what does it matter now? [its over]" and "theres a hell in all of us" again stating claudio isnt Mr. Hero

  • during this stand off claudio retorts back to Mayo saying "Yah, that's right I am going to home, to my afterlife, not hell as only you would be if you didn't owe the dead their lives" because of the song saying "going home, running free, as only you would be, if you never owed them anything and now you found your way out, in the trust you've seen [the trust you put in Wilhelm Ryan that he isnt using you]" and finally Mayo finishes saying "spend your time well before you go, here in hell"

  • Claudio said once that The Running Free was originally written at a time when they didnt know if Co & Ca was going to still be a band, and that it was written for the first Transformers movie... but i am definitely glad it didnt get used, because then a lot more people would be into Coheed just for that one song, that would do to them what Rock Band did to them, people say they like them and you ask them what their favorite song is, and they say "welcome home" it is just stupid and sick

  • FUCKIN A BALZO! youre damn right! i hate people who are coheed fan posers bc they like welcome home and never heard any of their other stuff and i REALLY hate the ppl who say Co & Ca suck from welcome home (they say it sucks but everyone knows they like it and are just being douches), personally i wouldn't mind it being in transformers bc it would make me want to see that movie again haha but the popularity that the running free would get would be bullshit just like welcome home, i agree

  • yea, definitely, all my friends and i that like Coheed always get really pissed off when shit like that happens... it is just because we are all really into the music and the story... hell, my buddy and i discuss some of the lyrics at work sometimes. but yea... i digress... if coheed had been featured in Transformers, it would have been terrible for them, they would have all the trendy douchebags liking them for the wrong reasons... and the same goes for 9

  • welcome home is a pretty good song in it's own right, this is my fav tho.

  • How can you get this much out of the songs?!

I absolutely love CAC, but unless there's something else I'm not reading, or reading into, I just don't see it!

So tell me, do you need to digest all of the lyrics from their songs to get this story, or is there something you have to read?

  • The songs tell the story/are a soundtrack for Claudio's comic book series The Amory Wars.

  • Earthbound, its really hard to make out the storyline because claudio is a freakin genius and disguises the lyrics so well, what you have to do is listen to the entire album and combine it with what claudio has announced (about who the characters are and where they live and whatnot, i.e. Claudio on Paris Earth, soon dubbed Silent Earth) its like a big puzzle you have to listen to them all chronologically and consecutively then piece it together bit by bit, i know the whole storyline finally =D

  • just read the comics. when i first heard coheed, i fucking hated them, now i have a tattoo that says "Hearshot Kid Disaster"...

the comics do an amazing job putting faces to most the lyrics you already have memorized.

  • no i wasn;t talking about the lyrics i know how dark they are but i was talking about the sound of the song and not the lyrics??

  • im was gonna bitch this retard out but then i realized you did it for me

    thank you

  • k faggot calm your shit alright i wasnt talkin bout the lyrics so get of your fuckin period kk??

  • o sry

  • agreed

  • did anyone else notice the amount of "Fuck"s there were at the end?

    skillfully placed? hells no.

    funny? yes.

  • wash my t shirt

  • I'm totaly not into this kinda music. But this band made me think twice :o

  • yeah me too.
