Earlier i said he's gonna be the next Bonamassa, but I can actually see his playing heading towards more old school blues like bb king and albert collins, which is cool also!
it's impossible for this kid to have the blues. b.b. king was basically a slave, and was cool enough to have banged like 100 chicks by the time he was 12. he learned the blues by sneaking into clubs at night. this kid has a case of the "q"'s maybe. he was born into affluence and the only banging he knows is slamming tonka trucks together. he learned the blues by sneaking into country clubs and manipulating whites into feeling "cool with the blacks." pfffft.
@CoreyCooper75 You obviously have a big chip on your shoulder. Anybody who pulls out the race card has no credibility. You call yourself a professional? Real musicians could care less if you're white, black, yellow or purple. And this is why you're still playing spoons in some dumpy pub.
@CoreyCooper75 unblock me so I can send you a message... coward...you just sent me a message and I can't respond because you blocked me from your channel
you seem to want to deny all your stupid comments now....I would like to "enlighten" you as you requested.
@TBird5790 How is you dissagreeing with us, different than us dissagreeing with Quinn? We can say what we want, and you can say what you want. At the end of the name calling: Quinn IS very priveledged and talented, but it is upsetting that those talents are being misguided. To me, the kid feels that speed trumps a musical connection. So sorry if that offends.
The vids of him from 5-8 show that he does have the connection, but I blame the parents for this 'fret-shredding' direction.
Im a 12 year old guitarist who's been playing all my life and I love the blues. I still havent gotten a chance. This kid does not know what the blues is. He even says it in the video. The blues is a feeling, not how many notes you can fit into a solo.
@stevierayDOM18 At 12 years old you obviously don't know what the blues is either. Keep practicing. Maybe if you change your attitude and post more positive comments someone will give you a chance one day.
@rokrol9 The hell I do. Thats all I do! How dare you tell me what I know or not. Here you are rooting for a freaking ten year old and giving me crap for not liking him. If I don't know what the blues was, I would not be who I am now. And I would not play guitar for 8 years. Look at my user name and say that to me.
@stevierayDOM18 You sound like a very angry person. Lighten up! If you're as good as you think you are you will benefit from changing your attitude. Nobody will give you a chance with that attitude.
@stevierayDOM18 So what! Jealous? Wish you had a chance? Keep playing. All your life, sheesh. You're 12!
He admits that he just loves to play. He sings well. Yeah, His parents got the money, and set him up with all the right gear, but all successful musicians got a break somewhere. Deal with it.
They didn't stop working hard because "I still haven't gotten a chance". Your chance is that guitar and amplifier you are playing and plugged into. Maybe you don't have it in you. Huh?
Guy said he played with the soul of ... COME THE FUCK ON! Kid can play, sure.. But really? Obviously the narrator/writer of what he was saying didn't know what the hell they were talking about.
dude doesn't care about the blues, he just likes looking like a fret shredding douche. In my opinion, leave the blues to bluesmen. This kids going to turn into another John Mayer. Yuppie white kid trying to relate to and gain the respect of blues legends.
Jimmy Page, Clapton...hell, even Hendrix were influenced heavily by the blues. But they didn't seek out Muddy Waters and go tour with him. They created their own sound, and pioneered great things.
@tfurrh1 You are a weak, sour, bitter person, and don't get at all what's going on here. Idiot. White kid? OK, lets name all the white kids, Moron.
Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Bonamassa, Derick Trucks, Duane Allman, Jeff Beck, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Sheppard. And the DID go out and play with those influences they could, you freakin idiot.
You're just pissed because here is this 10 year old kid who can play. So what if he needs work, that's exactly what he's doin - working at it.
@TeknikAlity34 Jimi was one of a kind. Its unfair to all those great players to say there is only one best ever.

I hate the way all the "reporters" ask him "uh yur like only 8 or 10 or 11 and you know you need to have life experience to play the blues, you haven't lived enough, don't you think" namely an -ex- football player "a joke by the way, he is" THE BLUES is in your blood , soul, spirit, and your bones. your either born with it or you acquire it with life lessons. so the next reporter doing his or her research for your interview, please ask age appropriate questions. remember, hes a musician and kid
Quinn could take on Tallan any day, man. He knows when to rock out, when to hang back, and his rythm and singing are spot on. I hope Quinn never sets that guitar down, cuz I wanna hear more of his music!

@LesPaulFreak10 Earlier i said he's gonna be the next Bonamassa, but I can actually see his playing heading towards more old school blues like bb king and albert collins, which is cool also!

you mean to say that there is a certain criteria in which foxy lady is to be played? are you talking through your arse? Id like to see you top that man.

dude
be careful with your criticism...you are not even close with your version of foxy lady....it is tough to be 15 with no chance of being noticed by anyone let alone a national tv show and guitar legend.
keep practicing and maybe you can carry this kid's gear to shows that you won't be playing at.
