@qwasd0r First of all, this isn't my video. but if your in ts with out people and that server supports ACRE, I'd say you should use ACRE on those servers because It's more realistic. Exactly like a real radio, If you'd ever used one.

@NBGZerO Well, I gotta say my english isn't rocket science but what I think your saying is, If you use a 343 will the comms around you mute or will it be normal as you will hear in other comms? My answer is yes and no. Once you press your radio key to talk you will not receive any comms while your pressing to talk, in the other hand you will head people using direct chat via Acre around you. Correct me if i'm wrong. Also if you have two radios, one on each ear, it works the same.

@mystupidusernameacc Well, I heard the 343 has a max range of 700 meters, so what I meant was if you're lets say at 800 meters away from someone who is transmitting, will you hear a bad quality transmission with noise that gets worse the farther away you get or will you just hear nothing at all?

@NBGZerO I'd say I dont know, 343 is like a kid's walky talky in real life so I didn't really use it that much. But I've heard people breaking up sometimes with high mountain terrains while I was in the cobra.

The thing that pisses me off the most about this clip is the fact that he is intent on shooting that dead body for 15 minutes on FULL AUTO from like 250-300meters... @st82nd It's done to some extent in a few missions. Generally not though, to prevent laggy missions. When you have 30+ people on a server you can't have very many AI at the same time before you risk getting lag/desync problems. Ultimately it depends on mission size and type.

@Limeni69 We're using TeamSpeak 3 with the ACRE (Advanced Combat Radio Environment) addon. It gives the directional voice in-game, as well as proper radio simulation.
