Thanks for a new addition to the Youtube videos. With all the tourists it must have been impossible to do much photography without them intruding in your shots.

Glendalough, The Valley of the Two Lakes, and the Village of Laragh is truly a peaceful place to come and reflect on our faith through the life and works of St. Kevin.

@nurayacapull awe thanks very much the place speaks for itself , its a real strange vast area there are two lakes imagine they were all self sufficent there what ever they did , the peace in the place is strong you cant miss it all those are graves under the stones on the ground , the big cross Is Saint Kevins weird isint it too think a community was there and all blew away kinda still there today , that is how it feels , XD many thanks my friend have a good one xxxxxxcathy

amazing vid, the music was made for it. ive not been to glendalough since i was a child. nowhere in the world is there so much beauty. some of us have to leave our homeland to realise just how beautuful it really is. we got some magical places in west cork as well, but with holiday homes springing up everywhere the beauty of the land is stolen.i went to guágan barra about a month or so ago, its another world. thanks for the fantastic upload.

@Irishtankgod You're welcome. I wish I had visited Glendalough when I was in Ireland. We were only there for a fortnight so we only had time to explore Western Ireland(where my ancestors are from).

My cousin, our tour guide, showed us three different ruins that he said were purportedly "the oldest church in Ireland". He questioned the veracity of all three claims!LOL!

It's always a pleasure hearing from your relative! I learn a lot about your country from his messages!

@joeysheehan LOL yes thats normal , i think someone even tried too sell bits of Nelsons column after it was blown up , alway enterprising i personally think it was bricks from all over the place myself , id imagine Glendalough is the oldest only one of the original 8 little churches is left intact ( several invasions later ) but it 1500 years old ,

@tuktukskagal Hiya there thanks very much for watching yeah the big cross is where Kevin is actually buried a lot of the really old ones have collapsed and also the writing is worn away by time, some still read here lies , in one spot there are 3 together in a little broken ruin the energy there is too be honest very very strong , he couldnt stay in it , its earlier than Patrick , they were peacefull hermits no bad sensations there but strange xxxxxxxs Cathy

@tuktukskagal Hiya County Wicklow its not far from us, but you cant get there in winter at all the roads are cut off especially round the Sally Gap , mind you the speed limit is still 80 ?? yeah and that on roads with signs saying road not safe for horse drawn vehicles LOL , I find Kevin is more interesting than st Patrick his story is anyway , im not religious but you get the spirituality you cant avoid it , Hes the patron saint of Blackbirds isint that odd XD and many thanks Cathy
