"from SP , has honed a slice of garage-rock-influenced soul music of which the Daptone folks should be jealous.(The White Stripes too, if they weren't being emulated so blatantly in this band's red-white-and-black video for "Dificil de Domar".)
The songs are taut, but feel shabby, as if they were casually tossed off in between beer-fueled spins on the dance floor , which, at these shows in a rehabbed warehouse and claustrophobic bar-cafe, they may well be.
