you can tell u2 is a real band.. and what I mean by that is that you can tell he REALLY sings and he doesnt lip sync because he always changes the way of the words!!!! MAN i love U2 SOOOO muchhhh!!!

U2 have lots more fire in them to make great,great music adn they have just proved it with the new album.when people are comparing other albums......just think it has to be exciting for U2 and continuing to exlpore what makes them tick........ the mark of a truly great band of four very very talented musicians......i think you can still hear some of their earlier moments on this album..........keep it going lads.

Typical U2: over the top and emotionally overwrought. They sound like they're straining desperately to evoke emotions instead of writing from their own authentic emotions. Not every song needs to be a rock anthem: there is such a thing as intimacy.

I do wish they'd do "When I Look at the World" - it's my favorite song off that album.

I'm hoping they do "White as Snow" live, though the instrumentation might be difficult to adapt to the quartet.

Honestly, did not like the song at all until the 2 minute mark, and I just fucking loved it. Bono obviously went into his own world at that point and the vocals went to another level.

Third night, third song. A one out of three for getting ir right. The vocals don't even match the music. Seems out of sync, playing vocals against the music. Most of their songs have a total melding of Bono and the instruments, these ones don't. This album so far just doesn't sound right.
