i remember back in h.s. i never castled because i didn't like having my king in the corner. lol Didn't hurt me too much, I still won sectionals, usually just because i would just trade down to an endgame and outcalculate the other kid.

Some people try to castle with the least amount of piece touching, but now I see at least 1 leading GM tries to castle with maximum amount of touching.
