I agree with Nephildevil. A) Seems as though it would have been easier. and B) You would have been able to maintain production without the loss of revenue during the new growth/incubation period.

@drillsgtlangdon Marcel mentioned he's going to replace the irrigation system, too. So his plan is basically about an all-over hothouse-upgrade - meaning he has to cut down the plants anyway, if he wants to be ready for replanting in September. Does make sense to me. :)

why not just cut trim them down instead of removing them all
