I don't believe this was his last concert. I heard his last one was in 2001. By the way, here's some trivia for you: Waylon's last time on television was when he narrated an episode on Family Guy which was a bit Dukes of Hazzardish, and the last time he rebelled was when he didn't accept the award of getting to Country Music Hall of Fame and made someone else to do it. :)
@Juicefani11 He had his son to go and accept the award.....and I don't blame him for not going and accepting it in person....he deserved much more and a alot sooner than he received it!!!!!!He is THE MAN!!!!!!!RIP..WAYLON
@karenmoorewaylon Yep. Waylon did the right thing. He's my f*cking hero! He even had shortness of breath and still did this whole concert. He really cared about us.
Juicefani11 Thanks so much for taking time out to let me know!! I will be picking this video up for sure!! I think it's great!!!! Thanks again ..all the best always..
I lived in Nashville at the time of this show. The only way to get tickets was to win them on the radio because Waylon didn't want to sell any. I finally won tickets to the 2nd night show and was honored to have attended that once in a life time event. Montgomery Gentry and Travis Tritt also performed but besides Waylon, John Anderson was a highlight of the evening. Thank you Waylon for all the memories.
This is an easy song to play. You just put capo on third fret, and strum A-chord, which makes a C. Chorus goes with same capo thing, but it you play D, and then G, D, and back to A, and then E, and back to D. Hard to explain..
My two favorite country artists were Waylon Jennings and Jerry Reed. They are both gone now, but their music lives on.

Country music nowadays....."S-U-C-K-S - M-Y - C-O-C-K"
Oops...did I say that? ....I'm sorry.
Where the fuck did the steel and fiddle go? It's all about percussion, electric guitars and cell phone cowboys nowadays.
