i have a 2008 model i got it at guitar center. its not a knock off its a gibson. its ingraves between the top 2 tuners on the back of the headstock

@rocknwill003 That's correct, the few last years they added the year and " made in USA" . They are also chambered and have the Les Paul model on the headstock.

i play def leppard with mine all the time. steve clark used a les paul too but im not sure if it was a classic. but yeah it does get the job done for def leppard songs. you just cant get the whammy parts that phil collen does in his solos and stuff for like photograph. steve clark had a les paul with a whammy bar on it. other than that it is perfect for defleppard songs.

but to be honest guitar is my life work, I play probably 6 hours a day, 3 bands..

I was just being critical, I honestly don't think this is great playing - I also can play mary had a little lamb quite well (if that's what you meant truckerD007 - I couldn't really understand your first comment)

I also agree with lilzakkman - this guy's playing will greatly improve with more focussed wrist movements instead of at the elbow
