People can vote to outlaw gravity, but that doesn't make it sensible or make gravity illegal.

True story: the town of Poughkeepsie NY voted to outlaw days over 99 degrees F as they were deemed too warm. Bank signs with thermometers were shut off to comply with the law.

I am straight, but I have yet to figure out what negative things come from gay marriage. It does not affect me negatively, but it affects so many in a positive way.
