@jeffman52001 Jeff, I hate to burst your bubble but Reagan nearly tripled the national debt in his 8 years. When he was sworn in the nat.debt was 1 tril, when he left it was 2.7 tril. He and Bush are the alltime budget busters. Both more than doubled the debt in terms. Both raised deficit spending to a high art form. But Reagan at least valued the lives of US soldiers more than W. Bush threw away the lives of 6K US soldiers in a useless war in Iraq. Reagan wouldn't have done so.

I cannot believe there are still people around who think that attacking Iraq was a good thing. It is even worse, there are people out there who swallowed the WMD line as well. And Chickenhawke Cheney was of no help either. I'm sick of big gov't, tax-and-spend "Pinko 'Publicans" and am ready for REAL fiscal conservatism. I support Ron Paul, which I know contradicts conservative doctrines on some social issues, but right now, it's SPENDING that's killing us along with the Fed.
