  • In the 4th century B.C., Alexander the Great fell afoul of Pashtun tribesmen in today's Malakand Agency, where he took an arrow in the leg and almost lost his life.

    In a letter to his mother on 330 B.C. described the Pakhtuns/Pathans he writes;

    "Am involved in the land of "Leonine" lion-like and brave people, where every foot of the ground is like a wall of steel, confronting my soldier. You have brought only one son into the world, but everyone in this land can be called an Alexander"

  • Undoubtedly Indians and Afghan belong to the same Aryan race. To separate India and Afghanistan is impossible. Sometimes Indian dynasties (Mauryas) ruled what is modern Afghanistan some time Afghan dynasties parts of India. Both these Aryans lands have a common history and Sanskrit and Avestan Persian are twin languages.

  • Pathans have big history in world.
