I don't get why so many Teen Titans fans despise this show, I mean I was a huge teen titans fan and I have all the episodes on dvd, and there's elements from T.T. that's definitely present the in this show 1st they got Robin so thats a plus, 2nd im pretty sure the guy who voices cyborg voices aqua lad then you got teen drama which in my opinion totally destroys all of the little love issues they had in T.T. but overall you can so relate to the characters more, their issues are alot more modern
I love the darkness of the plots and how it goes deep into other problems among the team. The characters are well developed and they really are able to capture the whole thing about teenagers... i guess children who find this boring, they probably dont understand the oddities of the teenage mind... heh.. they all have their downsides, none of them are too powerful, Outstanding animation, and a lot more involved with the DC universe. I like it lol.
@captainmorganfreeman most of the people complaining are actually teens and people in their 20s complaining about how its different from Teen Titans, even though it wasn't meant to be a replacement for that show.
Im not gonna lie I barely watched the Justice League because I thought it was boring, and when I heard of this show I thought it was just gonna be even worse, but one day I decided I wanted a superboy shirt and then later on that night I started watching this show and omg was I wrong!! This show is badass, the animation is by far one of the best i've seen from DC shows and already I like it as much as I like teen titans, you got love triangles and the plot of each episode is never clear cut :)
I am probably going to get myself mutilated for saying this, but this show heavily reminds me of X-Men:Evolution: it is about teenage superheroes, it centers on their team relationships, and touches mature subjects. Characters seek acceptance, from their mentors, from society (to a degree) and from each other. And, of course, everyone is a defined individual (which has been shown so far, and I hope will develop more later).

I'd have to say that while I don't really approve of all the changes they made to the show, I think "young Justice" is probably the best superhero cartoon since Justice League Unlimited.

@PaleAlice This is not the same Earth as the Earth from the JL animated series. Here Barry Allen is the Flash and Wally West is Kid Flash and Bart Allen doesn't exist I guess neither does the Speed Force but The Flash is faster than Kid Flash and this will be explored later in the series I guess. My hopes are on the episode ''Insecurity'' will focus on Kid Flash.
I love this show so much Aqualad is so fucking awesome I love him being the leader, I would hate to see him lose his leadership to Robin because he is already going to be the leader of Teen Titans. Now I wish is the season to come we see new addtions with Bumblebee coming to the team and wonder girl. As well as some younger male characters. But I think this new Aqualad with Bumble bee as his second in commandwould be awesome.

I really wanna see complications on romantic relationships in the next season. If Wonder Girl is coming, I wanna see her boyish ways or maybe keep her affectionate feelings for Superboy from everyone, especially Miss Martian. I really mind seeing what teens would do in a dilemma like what Wonder Girl has (if she has a story in the next season). Well, I hope the writers will figure something fascinating in the next season..I believe.

All of the yj characters have great potential stories. Like aqualad's dad is black manta, robin dealing with living up to batman (WHO"S ACTUALLY IN THIS SHOW) and Miss Martian being a white martian,but they're only 18 eps in we'll see where these plot threads go. Robin's 13 because it's a young dc universe.

@NCCanes73 what i love about yj, is that it does have what you talked about (darker tone, mature themes, etc.), but does that in a way that younger kids can watch, in my mind, it's the template for a good "kids" show

Teen Titans has a story line of lessons and great journeys for the viewers. Saw an episode of YJ and it bored me to death. Cannot Believe CN could take out Teen Titans and replace it with this crap. YJ should be more for adults, they are all crappy characters with barely any "teen" moments. Yj may be good for some viewers but no "YJ" cartoon will ever come close to the Teen Titans. and its epic theme song :D

@SiiNTi i agree that TT was and always will be an awesome show but this show isn't crappy! first off, the shows not for 5 year olds (coz im pretty sure the teletubies are made for that shit) secondly, the show was only recently released, as TT was released a couple of years back, so i would expect for a fairly new show that there wouldn't be that many views in the first place, im sure that when TT was a new release, there was about the same amount of views as YJ. TT is awesome, but so is YJ.
Let's see here. The Teen Titans started in 2003 and ended in 2006. 3 YEARS in total. (legend) and in 5 years later, even ti'll this day THERE HAS BEEN MANY loyal fans who still watch its episodes online and watch videos of the Teen Titans trough youtube. Where is YJ? It was made in 2010 almost 2 years that its been on air. Even when YJ gets canceled NO ONE will make tribute videos and watch it 5 years later. YJ will never come close to the Teen Titans. This... is a fact. :)
@SiiNTi only time will tell how YJ turns out. i still watch Teen Titans :) it still excites me, even though i've watched every episode about 100 times :D I might be wrong but the first episode "Independence Day" came out on the 26/11/11 so theres no way that it has been on air for 2 years.

(amazingly so) but when teen titans first came out, it didnt have a massive fan base either, just a few dozen people that tuned into cartoon network every morning at 9am.....but now theres a huge amount of fans..many of whom stay up until 4 or 5 in the morning.. (myself included) ..... im just saying.. dont rule out YJ yet...... i for one cant wait until the new season comes out!! Who's with me??!

YJ is a piece of crap compared to the TT. Do not insult a legendary cartoon. TT has been in CC since 2003 and is still alive ti'll this day. Many people still watch them compare to your stupid YJ crap. Who gives a f*ck if YJ got better reviews (which i doubt) EVERYONE feel in love with Raven, Best boy/Terra moments, Robin and Starfire, and the epic fights. @SiiNTi dumbed down characters, disproporitionately drawn and always in costume, crappy villains like cinderblock, and slade who wanted to blackmail one of the main characters into being his successor, yeah legendary. Young Justice has the major DC villains and more DC characters including Beast Boy who will appear later. Bruce Tim Cartoons like Batman: the animated series are critically acclaimed not teen titans. YJ has great animation, voice acting and an epic story and its just begun.
@SiiNTi and the reviews are good; "Young Justice is a great show, filled with big action, witty humor, interesting characters, and clever scripts" oh and if you haven't even read the comics your not a real Teen Titans fan. You aren't even a DC fan or in Young Justice's target audience, of course you don't like it.
The producers, animators, directors can all take a bow as this series is really a step up for animation and for superheroes. The artwork is superb, I've been an avid fan of DC for years but never expected them to come alive in this series. The animation is incredible and the costume designs was shear genius. I hope this series last as long as the Justice League days. Thank you so much for a wonderful series and thank you to the uploader.

Somehow I missed this entire f#cking season. Cartoon Network kept re-airing the intro movie (broken up into 30 min episodes) and my tivo could never find a 'series' to record. It just kept coming up as individual specials and I got tired of waiting for the actual shows to start. Guess I'll have to wait for the dvds.
As for who might die.....my first inclination is to think it might be Superboy, as he dies in the Infinite Crisis comic. Though I think there is something to the theory of Aqualad dying and Robin being forced to finally take up his place as leader. Artemis, maybe, since it seems she might be the double agent, and those types often end up dying.
Well, we all know that it can't be KF Robin or Superboy. Artemis is tied to the light because Chershire is her sister, so, I'm gonna go with Artemis dying.
i feel sooo sorry for Superboy because he is technically only a couple months old and well he's probably going "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO ME!!" in his head because of all those hormones.
@Immortal4Aday Are you kidding? Teen Titans was ok but it was a disappointment to my rather high expectations. The characters were super heroes all the time. The headquarters was a giant T shaped tower that I can't even take seriously and the animation was really exaggerated and childish like a badly drawn anime. The only problems in Young Justice is they need to make episodes faster and how the heck do they keep their real identities a secret fighting crime in their street cloths?
@RialVestro true but the stories and character development were great, robin trying to forge his own path away from batman to become his own man and hero, starfire discovering that her real home is earth and her interest in robin, cyborg coming to terms with what he is but still knowing what makes him human. beast boy losing his love and moving on and dealing with betrayal raven hiding her emotions all the time, not wanting to get close to anyone because of what she is, YJ just has stereotypes
@RialVestro Yeah, the whole genre to me seems like it was missing something. I mean it was good but in order to have like a teen action show there really needs 4 elements which would have been a) some super skill b) a double life c) a team d) teenagers(obviously) . Teen Titans seemed to lack on the double life thing. This series lacks on that part a little bit but it's good cause they are in civilian clothing half the time.
@ichigokurosaki0007 Yes, it is a new episode. It is new because it hasn't been shown on television yet, and it is the episode that they will be showing come September 16th, when other new episodes occur for Ben 10, Generator Rex, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The reason ThunderCats isn't on that line-up for the night is because Star Wars is having an hour long premiere episode.

@Rion032 The reason why YJ hasn't had any new episodes is entirely CN's fault. They forced the show to premiere with only 8 episodes finished, and the episodes for this show (from what I read) do take a long time to finish. But, as of now, I believe that the first season is completed. So, I think they'll show all the new episodes, and then show Season 2 "Young Justice: Invasion" on the upcoming DC Nation block.

@MrInjerreau Look, you like tt and I like yj that's fine, but you really think tt had more interesting characters? Starfire cyborg and beast boy were generic, but I did like Robin and Raven. All of the yj characters have great potential stories. Like aqualad's dad is black manta, robin dealing with living up to batman (WHO"S ACTUALLY IN THIS SHOW) and Miss Martian being a white martian,but they're only 18 eps in we'll see where these plot threads go. Robin's 13 because it's a young dc universe.

Teen Titans has a story line of lessons and great journeys for the viewers. Saw an episode of YJ and it bored me to death. Cannot Believe CN could take out Teen Titans and replace it with this crap. YJ should be more for adults, they are all crappy characters with barely any "teen" moments. EVERYONE feel in love with the Teen Titans, Raven, the Best Boy and Terra moments, Robin and Starfire and the epic fights. There is no competition EVERYONE would prefer the Teen Titans. Yj may be good for some viewers but no "YJ" cartoon will ever come close to the Teen Titans. and its epic theme song :D

@SiiNTi i agree that TT was and always will be an awesome show but this show isn't crappy! first off, the shows not for 5 year olds (coz im pretty sure the teletubies are made for that shit) secondly, the show was only recently released, as TT was released a couple of years back, so i would expect for a fairly new show that there wouldn't be that many views in the first place, im sure that when TT was a new release, there was about the same amount of views as YJ. TT is awesome, but so is YJ.

Let's see here. The Teen Titans started in 2003 and ended in 2006. 3 YEARS in total. (legend) and in 5 years later, even ti'll this day THERE HAS BEEN MANY loyal fans who still watch its episodes online and watch videos of the Teen Titans trough youtube. Where is YJ? It was made in 2010 almost 2 years that its been on air. Even when YJ gets canceled NO ONE will make tribute videos and watch it 5 years later. YJ will never come close to the Teen Titans. This... is a fact. :)

(amazingly so) but when teen titans first came out, it didnt have a massive fan base either, just a few dozen people that tuned into cartoon network every morning at 9am.....but now theres a huge amount of fans..many of whom stay up until 4 or 5 in the morning.. (myself included) ..... im just saying.. dont rule out YJ yet...... i for one cant wait until the new season comes out!! Who's with me??!

YJ is a piece of crap compared to the TT. Do not insult a legendary cartoon. TT has been in CC since 2003 and is still alive ti'll this day. Many people still watch them compare to your stupid YJ crap. @SiiNTi Look I don't wanna fight with ya dude, because I'm a big Teen Titans fan myself, but don't compare them, they are two completely different shows. Young Justice isn't a replacement. Its only in its FIRST season, give it a break! Young Justice will have them 'epic fights' in time,although we've already had so much already,(have you seen the episode Failsafe?! ) It has so much character developement aswell, but its early days. Im just glad there's another awesome cartoon to watch.

@SiiNTi dumbed down characters, disproporitionately drawn and always in costume, crappy villains like cinderblock, and slade who wanted to blackmail one of the main characters into being his successor, yeah legendary. Young Justice has the major DC villains and more DC characters including Beast Boy who will appear later. Bruce Tim Cartoons like Batman: the animated series are critically acclaimed not teen titans. YJ has great animation, voice acting and an epic story and its just begun.

The producers, animators, directors can all take a bow as this series is really a step up for animation and for superheroes. The artwork is superb, I've been an avid fan of DC for years but never expected them to come alive in this series. The animation is incredible and the costume designs was shear genius. I hope this series last as long as the Justice League days. Thank you so much for a wonderful series and thank you to the uploader.

Somehow I missed this entire f#cking season. Cartoon Network kept re-airing the intro movie (broken up into 30 min episodes) and my tivo could never find a 'series' to record. It just kept coming up as individual specials and I got tired of waiting for the actual shows to start. Guess I'll have to wait for the dvds.

As for who might die.....my first inclination is to think it might be Superboy, as he dies in the Infinite Crisis comic. Though I think there is something to the theory of Aqualad dying and Robin being forced to finally take up his place as leader. Artemis, maybe, since it seems she might be the double agent, and those types often end up dying.

Actually that Robin (Jason Todd) becomes the Villain Red Hood after Joker kills him. Dick Grayon becomes Nightwing.
I would bet that Aqualad may die, as he is the leader and would impact the group the worst. Him or Artimus.

@Immortal4Aday Are you kidding? Teen Titans was ok but it was a disappointment to my rather high expectations. The characters were super heroes all the time. The headquarters was a giant T shaped tower that I can't even take seriously and the animation was really exaggerated and childish like a badly drawn anime. The only problems in Young Justice is they need to make episodes faster and how the heck do they keep their real identities a secret fighting crime in their street cloths?

@RialVestro true but the stories and character development were great, robin trying to forge his own path away from batman to become his own man and hero, starfire discovering that her real home is earth and her interest in robin, cyborg coming to terms with what he is but still knowing what makes him human. beast boy losing his love and moving on and dealing with betrayal raven hiding her emotions all the time, not wanting to get close to anyone because of what she is, YJ just has stereotypes

I mean it was good but in order to have like a teen action show there really needs 4 elements which would have been a) some super skill b) a double life c) a team d) teenagers(obviously) . Teen Titans seemed to lack on the double life thing. This series lacks on that part a little bit but it's good cause they are in civilian clothing half the time.

@ichigokurosaki0007 Yes, it is a new episode. It is new because it hasn't been shown on television yet, and it is the episode that they will be showing come September 16th, when other new episodes occur for Ben 10, Generator Rex, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The reason ThunderCats isn't on that line-up for the night is because Star Wars is having an hour long premiere episode.

@Rion032 The reason why YJ hasn't had any new episodes is entirely CN's fault. They forced the show to premiere with only 8 episodes finished, and the episodes for this show (from what I read) do take a long time to finish. But, as of now, I believe that the first season is completed. So, I think they'll show all the new episodes, and then show Season 2 "Young Justice: Invasion" on the upcoming DC Nation block.
