Big showmanship. Back in the day I thoroughly enjoyed gospel. I am happy that I have moved on to appreciate Christian music/contemporary christian music. This gospel scene seems to be so much about us. All horizontal centered,thus the true anointing is not there. To make up for the lack , we manufacture one based on runs and riffs and dances. A believer who is not visually stimulated can truly tell the lack of God's presence in these shows.

What happened to Gospel music?? Kirk Franklin's influence on Gospel has turned Gospel music into one big pretentious show-he blows. His choir is devoid of any real spirit or authentic church sound. It's all precision, choreography and no spirit. Myrna must have been embarrassed. Listen to some of Timothy Wright's old records and you will see the difference and that his music did not sound like this nonsense. And what was with all that acting by the choir after that news report-so phony.

I'm sorry but I found this "tribute" to the GodFather POOR!! Kirk made it all about HIM, and did not put enough emphasis on wh it was supposed to be on.
