Wow, his priorities are definitely not my priorities. I have no interest in funding somebody's kids' education. I do have an interest in quality health care, and having experienced managed health care programs in California, I cannot support his recommendations. I also have an interest in saving my job with the state, and again, he seems to want to cut jobs there. Why do republicans think putting people out of work is good for the economy?
We have a governor who's record governing would get other executives running a major corporation FIRED. Governor Gregoire is a pleasant and congenial lady, but Washington State, as with ALL states (except North Dakota) is in serious economic trouble. These times call for a governor with proven character, proven principles and the ability to lead and make critical decisions to move Washington in a new and better direction so that it survives the economic melt-down of the US. Rob McKenna is it.
Our most important priorities are written in the Washington Constitution: Education and the Courts. However, tax cuts for corporations have taken the front seat in front of Education and the Courts. It's time to eliminate the tax loopholes.
McKenna is the State Attorney General, which is not the state's executive branch. The person violating the law and gathering all those punitive fines is the state executive Governor Gregoire and her crowd.
This guy has fake all over his face....explain why our state has to pay out three times more punitive fines then before you took office? Fiscally conservative? Yeah, that's what Bush said. You can’t be trusted, not with money, not with social issues. And as the top lawyer? Well, that looks bad, too.
@jesusisstilldead ok then lets trust gregoire who turned WA state surplus into 5 billion dollar deficit, that was foreseen in 2007, but she failed to address it. She also cut 600 million from higher education here in WA, but is ramming a 3 billion dollar tunnel for seattle, meanwhile we have over 5 billion in debt. I guess that looks good. It's easy to see why gregoire isn't running again.
