Quite Impressed with the power and technical innovations coming out of Nelson Engines, takes alot of brain power...but wondering why they dont apply the same brain power when it comes to test driving their vechicles. High speed bursts on city streets is just asking for trouble..I mean I can understand if you're just some dipshit with born to lose tattooed on ur chest, but running over some kid or old lady could sink this company with a lawsuit...shit happens.

@ndawgtkd its coming from the transmission on this particular truck. The gears inside the transmission are straight cut for strength and positive engagement, instead of helical cut like on a regular passenger car or truck. Auto manufacturers use helical gears solely to reduce noise in forward gears. But reverse is usually a straight cut gear, that's why if you ever floor it in reverse in a standard transmission car it makes a whining noise. Hope that helped!

Hot exhaust gases have to make a 90 degree sharp turn to enter the turbos that is bad. Excellent equal length header excellent separate exhaust for waste gate gases.

You have successfully turned those intercoolers into interheaters. Intercoolers suppose to cool the the hot air leaving the turbos but not in this case. The hot air from the engine radiator which is in excess of 100 degree Celsius hits the intercoolers and instead of cooling the air they worm it even further knocking and preignition is the next step . Please place the intercoolers in front of your radiator so cool air can do the job. Read the book Maximum Boost from Corky Bell.

"dog box" refers to a gearbox with no synchros. The gears are engaged with 'dogs' which allows for quicker changes but more forceful. You can get 'dog' gearsets for standard transmissions.

A sequential box has the barrel that you talk about and also has dog engagement gears. You have to buy a sequential gearbox and can not modify a standard transmission.

Straight cut gears make the whine that you hear and you can get them for standard transmissions also.

Its not a kit, Its a type of transmission its called a crash box, or a dog box the gears are straight cut. basically you have a rotating drum instead of selector forks, that allow you to shift with out the use of a clutch. the drum moves when you pull the lever into the next gear.
