FaceBook Training - How does Facebook work?

All I want to know is how facebook works. Period. Example a couple of weeks ago Chris Hanson from Dateline was testing plumbers and garage door repairmen. I tried to use facebook to respond to the story but I don't see it anywhere. I tried to tell the people online about how Pa has this scam called state inspection. But I will be damned if I can figure facebook out.

does anyone know how does facebook choose top friends? pictures of friends it shows you? quotes from friends it shows you? see when ever I search for something on Facebook i notice it shows pictures and quotes from the same people and it also shows those people as my top friends, I want to know if they are stalking me so I can delete them
