I got a question i lost 50 LBS i was 255 now i am 205 should i focus on doing abs right now? Or bi-triceps? I do 40-50 pushups a day. Swim 40 laps 5 days a week and run 3.5 miles on the treadmill 6 days a week. I don't know what to start first but i know i want my chest to stand out and my abs are starting to show but also want them to stand out more. I have this machine so should i begin this? Thanks for anyone replying in advance. It feels so different losing weight and becoming stronger

i actually just bought this today and assemled it, tried it out and i actually really liked it but if your going to buy the ab rocket because you want to lose your gut then you need to go on a strict diet as well as using the ab rocket. Now in my case i have a little definition of abs and im really cut/lean and all i want to do is just get definition in my abs so this machine is perfect for doing that. but honestly dont waste your money on this because its a quick way to get abs cause its not!

Doesn't this just push you up instead of making you actually use your muscles to do the work? Seems pretty useless unless you can't do a real crunch on your own... if this isn't a crunch assistance machine, I'm not sure what it is. It looks like the work is done when you push it down, which would be a lower back exercise, not an ab exercise.

@jesus93ist I have this ab rocket and it really does work. Even if you only follow the video that comes with it in 3 days you will be saying ouch as you work through the workout. It targets the abs and leaves you feeling just that!. I'm looking forward to trying his reverse method looks even more effective. Oh and yes I have toned my belly by using this machine

agreed, I was wondering what was going on. the best results for someone with belly fat and quick results is to purchase a sauna suit and either ride a bike for 45 mins or run for 45 mins. the bike is your best bet because it is hard on the legs if you have a belly. Once done with the cardio proceed with the ab rocket. the cardio should be done at least 4 to 5 times a week

Well your "core" gets hit on almost any exercise.. it's just the nature of the beast that anything you do is going to use your abs and back for stability, just ask anyone who has had a broken rib how much their mobility was impacted. Most of having attractive abs is removing the fat on top with cardio.. fat is pretty much removed a little bit at a time from the entire body with the gut and butt being last. 10% bodyfat means abs.. 1000 sit ups, means 1000 sit ups.
