@jjrrhh11 , baby squid. Feed the fook through mouth of squid and exit 2cm before the rear end. Use 20cm of cotton wrap and just wrap it around the bait to stop smaller fish from picking at it.
@fnju89 iv never even seen a squid in my life lol ill b fishin fort walton beach in two weeks an will b tryin every tip i learn i kno nothing about the ocean an got three days to fish cant wait !!!
A lot.. Sharks, shad(tailor),mulloway, snapper, kingfish, pelagics in the summer months. Due to the heavy swells the sandbars and gutters always change creating habitats for different fish.
you won't be able to cast far on 80lbs, usually 80lbs is used at a leader line and not the main line. You don't want to use more than 20lbs for the main line so that you can get the bait out past the first sandbar. As long as the drag is set right, you can catch most any fish out there.
@cruzmissile25 Idk wat your talking about here in hawaii we cast 6/0 penn conventionals with 80# mono. Some of the better casters can get well over 150 yards with a 10z wire lead.
did you record this with a potato?

80 lb spiderwire braid is the same thickness as 17 lb mono. And you really don't have to have a shock leader since it is already rated at 80 lbs.
