  • you are such a fucking idiot. stop misleading people. this card does not add destructible scenery to games unless it already had destructible scenery. also, nvidia already has these chips in most of their new cards. BF3 will have destruction with or without this card.

  • Do something else with your hair.

  • And it's' 2011 now, nothing has changed, no games these days use physx

  • You don't need an nVidia card for PhysX - PhysX supports being run on the CPU as well.

  • just me or did the game play of UT3 look laggy?

  • where do i buy it?

  • @papas182

PhysX is built into all nVidia cards.

  • The coolest dude is back bitcheees!!!

  • he's baaaaaaaaaaaaack

  • in my opinion PhysX kill tha Consoles PS3/X360

  • @lipevolcom2 You do know that the Cell CPU in the PS3 is capable of things like this right ? that is what the 6 SPEs are used for.

  • @madmax2069 The PS3 Cell is as capable as a i7. Try to look up Mafia 2 physx running on CPU and not GPU and you will se why that guy said that

  • @terorvlad Its more capable then a I7, Its above a CPU and below a dedicated GPU /PPU when it comes to things like F@H. the 6 available SPEs in the cell provide it with those extra capabilities not seen in a general CPU

  • Good this he is descent looking because he speaks nonsense. That card is not magic it just relives the CPU from some physics processing. If not for software all those physics would not be possible. Putting in this card does not make your game magically realistic.

  • @gamer1337omg no.

  • this makes a problem for online gaming, your wall (say you have physx) blows up and isnt there, you can walk through it. but the other guy, cant (doesnt have physx) now online games must ask for this requirement

  • this is when tiger direct was cool. plus albert left and its literally shit.

  • i miss logan

  • That dude don't know to hold into a board, he's touching the components with his fingers, what a fail.

  • @TechnicalJaguar That card was pretty much for display, and it probably wasn't sold.

  • God made us We made PhysX.

  • i have a gtx 580 and phyixs are amazing, i run my games maxed out full everything, it makes the gaming world more realistic, all i can say is by a top end i7 pc rig, and u wont have any issues, ppl with outdated gfx cards and pc systems will always have problems and slate physixs off, please pelase get a job

  • and those games suck

  • i have dual Nvidia 8800gt's in SLI and when i had this card installed water particles would glitch down my page

  • Why did Nvidia have to buy this technology? FUCK OFF NVIDIA, LEAVE IT ALONE!

  • i like your hair

  • What a shame it failed.

  • @Speednugget2000 not really, it got bought out by Nvidia before it really had the chance to take off, now every Geforce card 8x00 up has this built into them. so no it didn't really fail. you just do not know its there being used or not if you have a supported card (GPU).

  • this guy is making it sound like if I use physx than suddenly every game I play will have destructable environments...what!? games dont magically change with a card :P the game has to be programmed to be worked with it as well. unfortunately not many people focus on physx games these days. I am getting a couple gtx 470s soon prolly so lets see if this physx is really what all the hype is showing... :P

  • ageia gay money lovers.. now my old games doesnt work anymore if i didnt uninstall nvidia physx.. but if i uninstall nvidia physx my games supported nvidia physx doesnt work! fuck you! fucking cunt shit bitch motherfuckers.. gay bieber.. fucking cunt

  • Wow this was such bullshit.

  • what if someone on the server doesnt have physx? an ATI user? then how would that work? physx has to be cosmetic

  • aah the good ol' days!

  • The way this guy explained it will make people think they can go buy this thing and it will ADD physics to a game, lol FAIL.

ANd like everyone has been saying, PhysX is now incorporated into all NVIDIA GPU's. Also PhysX support is determined by the developers of games, not what GPU you have in your system.

  • i watched about 10 times form 0:10 to 0:13

  • Since nvidia bought ageia, Dedicated physics processing units (PPU's) or cards do not exist. from the 8800 series and higher, physX is incorperated with the graphics card. Also, all support has been dropped for the dedicated ageia PPU with windows 7. (obviously windows 7 still supports nvidia physx, DO NOT confuse that with the ageia physx card!)

  • Looks like he was standing to close to a really big magnet..

  • i bought one of these cards new really cheap and it helped out allot ( geforce 6800 GT, P4 3.2ghz, 2gb ram), with it enabled in PhysX enabled games, it enables it to run much smoother because the CPU and GPU dont have to do the heavy lifting of the physics (that is if you have something older then a geforce 8x00 card)

  • hey, the camera is here dude... over here

  • Do we even need these types of cards now days? like im sure most if not all the new Nvidia cards run PhysX without the need for an actual physics card?

  • @jaycob619 anything from the 9000 series and up has physx in it.

  • @mikey9890 hey will the card that the video is showing perform the same as 9000 series (physx performance wise).

  • @frenchfriesidiot i have no idea, but that thing is so old, normally people just use a 9800gt as a physx card, while they use their graphics card. but im only using a 9500gt and i dont see the need for a dedicated physics card.

  • is a legend =) lol

  • f*ck nvidia motherf*cker :(

    ageia bought by nvidia

  • LOL THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OLD

  • ageia bought by nvidia

every card above a 9600 can doo the 3d math necessary for all the physics calculations

ati users can use bullet, just as good if not better

  • this card is usfull or useless!? that's my system:

    Case: Thermaltake Mozart VC4000SNS; PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower-Cable Management, 750W; MainBoard: Asus P5VD1-X; Heatsink: ZeroTherm Zen120; CPU: Pentium 4, Prescott 670 2M, 3,8Ghz ; Dimm: 2GB OCZ Platinum DDR400, 2.5,3,2,5 2T; VideoCard: Sapphire HD3850 IceQ 3 AGP, DDR3 512MB; HDD1: Maxtor 6B200P0, 189,91GB; HDD2: Fujitsu 35EV821; ODD: LG GSA-H55N; Monitor: Acer G24; Audio: Creative SBS580 5.1; OS: XP He Sp3.

  • This card is useless now. Nvidia bought PhysX from Ageia because their idea of having a separate PPU was ridiculous.

Nvidia took it, then used their latest DirectX10 GPU's stream processors to render PhysX. Now ALL DX10 Nvidia GPUs utilize PhysX. ATI of course, does not.

  • I've got an ati vga sois a phyx card necessary?

  • No, only Nvidia cards, unfortunately. :(

  • Older driver not!? Are you sure!? I red test in which both radeon and ageia ppu was used in it. Perhaps i can't use new nvidia drivers but early ones yes.

  • Oh yeah, I'd say it would work with older drivers, but only with older games that supported Agiea's version of PhysX, none of the newer ones.

  • this is only 128mb ddr3 and nvidia requires thier physx card with a minimum of 256mb and it must have a least 32 core of stream processor. so i rather use some old 8800 or 9800 series card for physx. 8800gt is good for physx support .

  • @kipdokken It's not a graphics card, it's a dedicated card that yo have AS WELL as your graphics card.

  • All the new games now make use of PhysX technology and compared to the older ones, even with PhysX at low it slows my machine down allot, to the point of 5fps in some games.

It's an old rig, Amd 4600x2 4GB ram OCZ DDR1 and ati 3850HD.

Now, games like Borderlands play fine in this machine but others like SW Force Unleashed play awful (5-20 fps).

Will a PhysX accelerator fix this?

  • i play crysis with no PhysX and the physics are the best i'v ever seen. PhysX will not catch on without Ati's support. my cpu can do physics better than this.

  • @jasonf81 As far as I know, Crysis doesn't even use Physx. It uses some other physics engine. And what do you mean ATI is supporting Physx? Nvidia bought and own Physx now, ATI cards aren't even allowed to use Physx.

  • HELP HAITI - Check out my new video and dont forget, a small donation does help too. Thank you.

  • If there is a wall theyre safe, now theyre not safe. Lets say I have ageias physx card and the guy that is safe doesnt. Does it mean he will die hiding behind solid wall while I see it destroyed? Makes no sense to me.

  • The CPU will handle the calculation this card cant change the game it can only utilize whats in it.

  • Also note this is a mod being used

  • Thats Hardware physx vs the software physics you say. HL2 physics do good, but theres still "but" in it. We will see how BFBC2 will do, that could prove what the guy on the video says however, its not clearly possible on nvidia/ageia physx because not everyone has a physx capable GPU (ie. ati / s3) that would make one huge mess online. Im For HAVOK and I understand why Dice bet on that. It could do amds as well as intels cpu.

Comes out that the cpu is both the brain and the body.

  • i just hope that ati will adobt it soon :D

  • @Beaverman20

Ati wont asobt physx, but HAVOK intel Physics Engine

  • Amd has Bullet. nvidia has ageia and intel has havok that is mass used both in consoles and a PC while ageia is on some PC titles and bullet is allmost unknown to the most of ppl. DX11 direct compute has the most potentials to pwn all mentioned as a snap if there would be a bunch of ppl creating the physx on it meaning no need of different pc peripherals but the dx11 accelerator. that would be great. because nvidia only flames the PC gaming as consoles does with their exclusives. You feel me?

  • it's funny because he says "you're gonna see stuff beyond what your graphics card is capable of" and 2 years later, the GPU takes care of all of this much more efficiently than the PPU ever did :3

(even more funny, graphics cards that were already out at the same time as the PPU still outperform them in PhysX xD)

  • Yes, its funny that isn't it. I have a card with it built in but still haven't baught a game with PhysX.

I'm wondering, if the built in PhysX graphics card, the PhysX is a seperate GPU rather than integrated into it?

  • @Blurredman I think they modified the PhysX software (the drivers and stuff) to work with the way the GPU calculates things (floating point processing, much faster than conventional cpus) which is why the GPU can do both at once with just the one GPU, because it's often just waiting for the CPU to finish anyway.

hope this answered your question :3

  • how can this card change the game looks

    That's just awesome

  • basic understanding of computers fail

  • It doesn't exist anymore since Nvidia bought Ageia. PhysX is now part of Nvidia graphics cards.

  • @Radwar99 Which was brilliant, since the PPU is a fundamentally great idea, it does take up a PCIEx16 slot(I think), and if you only have one on your mobo, what are you going to do? You only get so many expansion slots and only so much space.

Integrating it into the videocard solves that issue. I imagine that some day, physics, graphics, and audio will all be part of one card, with the core game processing using the CPU, and everything else using the GPU(Game Processing Unit)

  • @alkafrazin, Well, to really get the most out of it, it's recommended that you have two video cards, especially since as time goes by, gaming compagnies will get more comfortable with the technology and produce more complicated & realistic effects. My guess is later on, there will be a Physx detail adjustment in games like there is one for graphics detail so people with one video card can profit from the technology without slowing everything down.

  • @Radwar99 I hope so. I tried running UT3 PhysX maps on a PhysX card, but with just one card, it was a total slideshow as soon as anything happened. Granted, it's just a GT240, nothing amazing, and my CPU is old as all hell and probably bottlenecking it as it didn't meet the minimum requirement for UT3's PhysX pack, but at the same time, those are basically physics tech demo stages, and not really the same kind of PhysX you get in games made for it, which apparently run pretty well with one 240.

  • @Radwar99 wow. thats great :)

  • @Radwar99 yes it does, i just bought one off shoprbc.com and im using it with my HD5870

  • @TheWiipimp32

Sup, I want to get one if it will work in my system.

Does it work like in the video?

    What are your specs?

I've been debating buying an nividia card for PhysX

    I've got an ATI mobo.

  • @TheWiipimp32 how do you get i to work with the ati card on windows 7????

because i have 2x 5770 crossfire and the physx card in there and it dont work i tried fluidmark and says no physx engine found.

  • @Tonza483 hacked 10.6 drivers im pretty sure

  • @TheWiipimp32 can you cheak out how you did it properly for me please. i you can.

    Thanks.

  • @Tonza483 google it my friend. i havnt used my physx card in years not enough room in my case :P i just know its 10.6 drivers that r hacked to use it.

  • @Radwar99 would teh card add any noticeable performance boost when I'm running an XFX 8600 GT? I just need to take some of the load off of the CPU.

  • @Radwar99

    :(

  • @Radwar99 you can still get one and use it as a dedicated physX card. It's still possible

  • @teh1337storm Perhaps, but what's the point, Nvidia graphics cards are a heck of alot more powerful than the old Ageia PhysX cards.

  • @Radwar99 Yep. I've just heard that it's actually worth it to use this as a dedicated physx card still. Allowing the gpu to work more on textures and less on the physx

  • they are the same thing now, this card is just like a 8400

  • Ubisoft = Support PhysX

    EIDOS = Support PhysX

    EA Games = Support PhysX

    EPIC Games = Support PhysX

Bye Bye John Carmark ID Soft, 3D without Physics is so Boring~~~

  • PhysX my ass. Good CPU-optimised physics calculations!

  • Intel Elite Illuminati Suck your Blood LOL

Intel are able to release 300 Core CPU by this year and make Human Race comfortable

We Scientist can't wait Peta Exa or Zetta Flops Computing

Hell Yeah, You Go Ahead and keep waiting Good CPU release LOL

  • What about a quad-cpu motherboard with a i7-based chip for servers? :D

  • i7 ?

    i9 6 core with 12HT

    or

AMD Phenom II Thuban 6 core

Intel admire their Core i9 are not able to match their Larrabee in physics calculations ok darling~~~

  • Quantum Computing near infinite proccessing power FTW?

  • Quantum Computing need Buddha teaching

Wait for China make one LOL

By the way, are you atheist?

  • Yes I am athiest.

  • Young people believe ghost and UFO exist

    Elders believe God exist

Younger ones should watch and learn LOL

  • Are you really that sad that you want to start an argument on the internet? Think about it, the universe is huge and there are TRILLIONS of stars out there which could have orbiting planets and your telling me theres no chance that they have life? God didnt create the mind, the mind created god.

  • Agree

    Mind Created God

    Science & Islam = Religion

    Religion = Reject God

    and

Science always wrong need to update

  • Whats your point?

Simple answer is mankind in its ignorance of the world used supernatural beings to explain stuff.

  • supernatural beings like Ghost

    Do you believe Ghost exist

BFG use the All-Seeing Eye Design packing

    1:40 also All-Seeing Eye ritual

If Lucifer don't exist, why Bush family do sacrifice ritual every 11 years, This proof Atheist is way beyond limit in free thinking~~~

  • Are you serious? Moron

  • @1995wed

People like you already brain washing by the elite

    Where is you six sense?

  • Comment removed

  • hes just using a circular argument not getting anyware, its the christian way lol

  • Must be the Christian way, 'cause I can't get through one sentence of his.

  • You cant shoot and break a wall if you have a card like this... you need to have a game that support GEO-MOD to do tat

  • So, you're saying that when I get this card, I can shoot through surfaces and therefore will have an advantage over other people without this product...

  • Yea, because they can hide behind a cloth thats invisible to them, while you see a giant sheet.

  • is that a joke? cos it was funny~ :D

well, on a serious note, its the movements of the cloth that has to do with the physx~ not "there's a cloth, there's no cloth"~ :D

  • Nah man, its like the ghost cloth that was never there.

  • As you can see, physics in games are still a long way off from actual real life physics. Oh well one day they will get it right.

  • ya XD and man its GTX285 ppl thing 285GTX but its not XD

  • THis guy's hair is on physx. Anyway this card is only 128MB? Thats a joke. It should be at least 1GB for todays games. New video cards don't need this because new cards come with it built into the card.

  • dude this card was like 3 years ago xDDDD

  • Dude i know that. That's why it says September 25, 2007 next to the subscribe button. But that still is very little ram for 2007. New cards don't need it because they already have a physx processor on the card, well Nvidia cards anyway. ATI card owners will have to deal with a physx lock on there cards. Untill ATI comes out with DirectCompute or OpenCL for their cards.

  • And thats why Nvidia Pwns Ati xD

  • You know it my man. But for me i don't favor either card. For me i let the best card win and i buy the winning card. Right now it's Nvidia by a hair. But ATI's new 5800 cards do look promising. Right now the card i'm using is a BFG 285GTX OC 2GB DDR3 Bat Man Edition and it is awesome. I even got a cool BFG T-shirt with it. Maybe my next card will be an ATI but for now Nvidia rocks my world. Thanks Nvidia! Also ATI needs to gain back the trust of gamers by supplying stable drivers for their cards.

  • Theres also havok. But physx is greatly improving, mainly with their capabilities with making smooth real life like liquid flow.

  • Havock was in hl2 right?

  • Yep. Wasn't it an advanced version in Ep: 2 as well?

  • Duno dont think so.

  • .....this card is only for the Physix not for any other thing, 128mb is more then enough

  • Maybe if your playing a game that is five years old but not for new games where physics play a major role in games.

  • its not a graphic card its and accelerator card it doesnt matter about the VRAM

  • LMAO who does his hair LAWL!!!

  • I assume he just stands in a wind tunnel

  • lol it almost looks like Warrio or something! lol I can't stop laughin every time I see it. And think, someone is getting paid lots of hardly earned cash to do his hair and makeup for camera lol. I WANT THAT JOB!

  • How about a comparison showing with and without. This was a 7 minute ad, with nothing interesting or useful to say.

  • can u use these cards with a ati card???

  • turne dout theese were shit in the end :) never cuaght on probably becuase ati started owning nvida :)

  • i had that one,, i'm sirious....... not bad but not much change,,, just like i have qore 2 quad and Bfg card physx its boost physx peformance just like intel core i7 without Bfg physx card

  • if you have 2 way sli in your pc can you add this card into your pc? sorry im a bit slow just found out about this today

  • the 8800 and 9800 are good cards. considering im only 13 i think i do alright. i'll start building a ridiculously fast computer when i get a proper job.

  • hey man same here im only 13

  • Help-i got ati radeon 3850,games can't play without ageia physX,i can't install,why?and...how to install ageia physX-helppppp

  • um...... arnt u mixing ati and nvidia????...i thpought thoes dont mix...u gotta go nvidia only, with phys x....or ati only with crossfire....from what i know...ait has no physX

  • ATI uses openCL they have had it for a while, this will without a doubt overtake physX as its a more universal language.

You used to be able to use ATI cards as primary then a dedicated nvidia card just for physics, but as nvidia always do they removed this option from their most recent drivers.

  • i have an ati 4850 and if i get this card will i be able to stick it in my pci slot, download the drivers and will it work? or do i have to have just this alone?

  • not likely. Phys X is NVIDIA proprietary and BFG only makes cards for NVIDIA. Sounds like you got an ATI card. But with the high end card you have, you'll only be going backwards with this crap. From what i understand you already have a beast of a card... But i stopped buying ATI cards back with the raedon 9550.

  • actually nvidia drivers have an option for ageia physx or nvidia phsyx support....

  • hunh... i've never heard of that but then again i havent really been hard core about it for years. Learn something new everyday.

  • wont a good graphics card do the job instead??

  • whats better this or the killer nic?

  • Its really hard to get your hands on one of these. eBay is the last resort..

  • You dont need it, if you have an nvidia (6,7,8,9,250) just download the right driver( get an 8800 good card)

  • Dude the 8800 is old tech. get a GTX 295

  • Its still a good card though, and not every one has a lot of money, but yeah 295 is a fast card, anything(other than crysis) could be run on max with good a FPS

  • Crysis isn't that demanding. Dude... GTA IV is far more demanding than Crysis, and also Saints Row 2.

  • Yeah, but it's cause GTA 4 was released later. If they made a new Crysis(which im pretty sure they are,) it would probably demand somewhere near GTA 4

  • The reason GTA IV is so demanding is because it was ported so poorly by the developers. Not because it is particularly good graphics wise, its nowhere near the ballpark that crysys is in. As for crysys 2... i cant wait

  • Thumbs-up, even though I would recommend a GTX285, or the upcoming GT300's instead :)

  • I'd rather keep my 5870, you can pay a ridiculous amount for a medicore improvement.

  • would this work with my ATI graphics card

  • it's interesting that these didn't really go anywhere.

  • 0:11 nice catch

  • lol this is old, the gpus themselves are physx capable now

  • enabling PhysX on the nvidia cards really bogs down performance on games where it's implemented. getting a separate card like this one, disabling physx on your main card would be better performance wise than having the nvidia cards doing both at the same time. If you want to do that with an older nvidia card (make it dedicated to physx), you need to have additional PCI-E slots.

  • lol i remember when these damn things were like 300 bucks XD

  • I swear this card lookS exactly the same with INNO3D 9500 GT

  • i dont get it, unreal torn is online, what if the other player doesnt have the card..-.-

  • He'll lag. on his own computer at least.

  • halo sucks thank you nvidia for using phsyx, love my gtx 280 sli.

  • no longer available Nividia purchased agiea new nvidia drivers use gpu to process. Take it out dont buy it

  • do ati cards have some sort of equivelent to PhysX built in. Not that it really matters though, cuz ive got an nVidia. They're the best!

  • Yeah its called Havok, and its built into a lot of pre existing games.

  • Great for ATI users like me who really hate nvidia for stealing Physx from everyone

  • fanboy -_-

  • Well, its true

  • love all these comments on dated hardware lol

  • lmfao it's an AGP Add on? who bought this people only use PCI & PCI-E

  • halo 2? >.> lols

  • You realize this card is built in the new nVidia graphics cards. Halo sucks btw.

  • This video was obviously before nvidia bought ageia.

  • awesome card perfomance only up!

and maphantom is it true about ageia?
