hulu plus sucks dick. You would think that paying for it,would stop commercials, but no. Netfilix is better, but their getting worse and worse to the point where they might need to close down, but they still have a better library than hulu.
Just signed up for Netflix free 1 month trial(endless streaming,2 DVDs) and I have been on an orgy of movie watching for the last 3 days,I also have HBO,Showtime,Cinemax On Demand and they have the dullest and boring movie selections and so far I am impressed with the Net.
I do not use Netflix anymore, but when I did, they were an outstanding company. They went above and beyond, as far as customer satisfaction goes and had a very nice selection. I recommend their service.

Netflix streaming is excellent I think, with the exception of the crap from Starz which are low picture quality and everything is the 4:3 ratio. I think it depends on what you want. I watch classic movies on Netflix that you can't find on cable. Since I work 2nd shift, I see the programs I missed on Hulu. I do not like the ads on HuluPlus. But wth what are you gonna do? Not 4 nothing, but if I really want to see a movie that has recently been released on dvd or whatever, I will use the Blockbuster or Amazon app for my tv

Neither are any good because they don't allow international subscribers, so what's the point of having anything at all in the first place, I guess they are too cheap to allow people from outside the US to access atleast streaming content, which begs the question again, why even bother to have either of them.

I seem to like Netflix over Hulu at this point because Netflix has shows that I actually want to watch like Hey Arnold and Good Luck Charlie. I am not really into the current stuff. I seem to not mind being late on the show like South Park. I was considering Hulu plus but not at this time.
ht+ isn't worth it. minimal movies and nothing exclusive. i like netflix, crackle and xfinity (wich has alot of stuff from hulu you can't get with out a paid account).
I stream on a Roku. So to me Netflix channel on Roku streams much better than huluplus channel which I found too slow and almost unusable. As for content, true there are more recent TV episodes on huluplus that won't reach Netflix until the season itself is over, but I think Netflix has more content overall.
Netflix is the only one I pay for... Though I don't understand why they can send you DVDs with no problem, but can't stream it. The only thing I can think of is pirating fears, but if you can watch it, you can record it. So what's the difference? Damn greedy production companies!
i actually only have netflix, i just use my dish dvr to record my shows and any that i forget to record i just watch on hulu, the funny thing is that a lot of shows that require hulu plus you can watch directly on the show's network site. The great thing about hulu is that it is easy to find all the shows i watch in one place. Conclusion? nothing beats dish dvr! it is cheap, relay-able and for those of you who have limited bandwidth, it does not use any of your bandwidth lol
I think people need to sit back and figure out why they even make movies or shows. To entertain and get a message out right? I don't think companies or filmmakers even know why people pirate in the first place. I would pay $30 a month for all the videos you can get from piracy. I cancelled DVD for Netflix on price hike and I use blockbuster now. I enjoy getting newer movies quickly! Worth it! Streaming does suck but I love the convenience.

I've got Netflix streaming here, I'm disappointed with the selection of american film. There is a huge selection of amazing movies that just aren't available without paying double the price. However, I've been watching a lot of amazing foreign films I would have never known about otherwise. "I Saw The Devil," "A Tale of Two Sisters," "No Mercy," among others like "Oldboy," "H," are all amazing movies I never would have seen or heard about without Netflix online streaming.

@wrathallll No, and why would you want it in the UK? All the major broadcasters already have services that render Hulu useless. BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4 On Demand and Sky Go mean Hulu would serve no purpose at all, that's the reason See-Saw failed.

@wrathallll American and British TV tastes are completely different. Most U.S. programmes aren't broadcast here because people prefer in-house content. Hulu would need localisation, which would be incredibly expensive.
And since BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4 On Demand, Demand 5 and RTE are all avaliable, for free, and legal, Hulu doesn't have a market. See-Saw, which was a very similar service to Hulu in the UK, shut down this week, because after 3 years they still couldn't attract many users.

Neither are any good because they don't allow international subscribers, so what's the point of having anything at all in the first place, I guess they are too cheap to allow people from outside the US to access atleast streaming content, which begs the question again, why even bother to have either of them.

I seem to like Netflix over Hulu at this point because Netflix has shows that I actually want to watch like Hey Arnold and Good Luck Charlie. I am not really into the current stuff. I seem to not mind being late on the show like South Park. I was considering Hulu plus but not at this time.

I stream on a Roku. So to me Netflix channel on Roku streams much better than huluplus channel which I found too slow and almost unusable. As for content, true there are more recent TV episodes on huluplus that won't reach Netflix until the season itself is over, but I think Netflix has more content overall.

Netflix is the only one I pay for... Though I don't understand why they can send you DVDs with no problem, but can't stream it. The only thing I can think of is pirating fears, but if you can watch it, you can record it. So what's the difference? Damn greedy production companies!

i actually only have netflix, i just use my dish dvr to record my shows and any that i forget to record i just watch on hulu, the funny thing is that a lot of shows that require hulu plus you can watch directly on the show's network site. The great thing about hulu is that it is easy to find all the shows i watch in one place. Conclusion? nothing beats dish dvr! it is cheap, relay-able and for those of you who have limited bandwidth, it does not use any of your bandwidth lol

I think people need to sit back and figure out why they even make movies or shows. To entertain and get a message out right? I don't think companies or filmmakers even know why people pirate in the first place. I would pay $30 a month for all the videos you can get from piracy. Since I won't ever pirate again, I am stuck with Netflix... for now. I agree, most of the movies on Netflix suck too. Hell, nothing is more disappointing when Netflix only has 1 random season of your favorite show.

Chris, based on your experience, what service has the best quality streaming, and the best user interfaces? I personally don't watch movies, and 99% of TV is live sporting events. I would like to possibly try one of these services, and content is no issue for me.

Hulu has too many ads and really poor video quality (not even as good as a lot of YouTube videos.) Netflix is expensive, but it's got a big selection and I really enjoy the disc based service.

theres so many services out there now and they all pretty much charge the same amounts or more. with money being really hard for me, i don't bother with any of them. so that means a lot of movies and shows i don't watch. i used to watch stuff for free and if i liked it, i'd go and buy it. but they being nasty about that, that i don't even watch and they loose out on potential money making opportunities from me. their loss, not mine

I've got Netflix streaming here, I'm disappointed with the selection of american film. There is a huge selection of amazing movies that just aren't available without paying double the price. However, I've been watching a lot of amazing foreign films I would have never known about otherwise. "I Saw The Devil," "A Tale of Two Sisters," "No Mercy," among others like "Oldboy," "H," are all amazing movies I never would have seen or heard about without Netflix online streaming.

I have never been to hulu. If I wanted to watch that crap, I would just watch it on TV.
